I agree wit somethings MJW says in this vid. personally since I have done traditional martial arts, boxing, and now taking mma classes, I know what works best from each. MMA/Boxing increased my punching power but the traditional TKD increased the toughness of my knuckles and bones so they don't get damaged as much if I bareknuckle hit. and even tho MMA & boxing are great for defense if you beat someone up ur the one in trouble. TKD taught me i feel better defense strategies but thats my opinion

real martial artists use martial arts only to defend themselves and defend the helpless. mma is a sport.. the skill comes from the muscle inbetween your ears. which you dont have, thats why you would lack skill..

whole issue that bruce lee was talking about,,UFC is a sport, and it is effective, but most UFC are NOT talented skilled fighters.. take kimbo for example,, he is just a big steroid abuser with a big punch skilled NOPE... most MMA fighters simply go the gym in ject steroids and take up MMA.. people like bruce lee and michael jai have grew up their whole life training from the basics...
mma fighters are hardly skilled they are like a bull in a china shop, cung le is skilled..

try getting UFC guys to go to the shoaling temple and do what the shoaling monks do, real kung fu, and youll see, most of them have no balance, no speed, no acuracy, no timing, no agility, no coordination, and simply couldn't do 99% of the stuff a shoalin monk can.. most cant even do high kick, and a spinning back kick,
most cannot put togther combos, most are slow psysically and in the head.

UFC is not fighting, most of UFC fighters havent ever been in real fights.. and bruce lee could thrust his finger threw a full can of coke,, back in the old days when the cans were super thick too, so you work that out... one jab to the throat and your dead.. bruce could kill you in seconds in a real fight... these guys are brute force and good at cage fightting..
do you also realize most cage fighters are slow. they cannot kick, they cannot do combos, htye have no agility!!
