Thank-you for doing it in English. : ) AND, I am just so happy you used Whole Wheat Flour and the adjustments needed for it. This is like a dream come true! I'm making this tonight or tomorrow morning! YUM YUM! : )
i made pan de sal for the very first time today. i just missed it so much. haven't had a pan de sal for a very long time and there's really no place near where i can buy them. i made a few mistakes but it still turned out ok. but i still wished i watched this video first before making them. well, next time i know exactly what to do. thanks for taking the time to make this video.
You can just use your hands to mix the dough. Take a wide mouthed bowl (preferably stainless steel) and put the ingredients there. Mix initally with a spoon to combine then use one of your hands to bring the dough together. Keep mixing in the bowl until it comes together. As you mix and knead the dough it will naturally "tighten" and become a smooth dough.
filipino pandesal is hard and a bit burnt ouside but very soft inside...there are no Pnoy like pan de sal sold in USA..All of them are just 'munay' hehe
the dough will be initially wet, so you adjust the consistency by additional flour. This is where it becomes tricky. I only add as much flour as possible. If you add more the dough becomes hard. It also depends on how you knead the dough. It is a trial and error process.
:) thanks for sharing! :)
yung 3/4 ounces ba, ilan po ba ung kung convert po sa table spoon , pasensya na po magtanung lang po, para matry ko ung sweet pandesal nyo more power.thanks
is all purpose flour ok? or is it gonna turn hard?

good stuff, your video sounded pretty professional except for middle when the voice over wasn't consistant, but hey still a good video.

I like ur vids but we dont have those mixer and I can't rly make these unless there's something else I could use than that heavy duty mixer.
Also cud u turn down the volume of the music when you guys aren't talking cuz I have to turn them down. They're louder than your voice

can i criticize? ahm..
when, fermenting the bread, it should be covered with a damp towel ryt?
then parang hindi ata masyado umalsa ung dough and besides, hindi sya mukang dough, para syang batter.
