to engage the core in a supine position requires a good contraction of the rectus abdominal.. his hips are not too high as he is engaging his abdominal muscles (think crunches). if he made a straight line his glutes and erector spinea muscles would take the load.. and if im not mistaken his back is in a nutural (flat) position.. learn your bodiy mechanics b4 you analyze the exercise
@kaz8666 you kind of contradicted yourself in this, you said he is engaging his abs like a crunch but his but his back is in a natural flat position. When you do crunches your back isn't straight... In any case he would be using his abs weither his he is arched like in the video or flat like a normal plank, in this case i think he is just puttin more of the load on his arms and legs and not his core muscles
haha shut the fck up iron mike. everyone is an expert on the internet
great exercise and the guy just probably can't tell exactly how straight his back is so he is going slightly higher because he knows that as he fatigues the tendency is going to be to drop his hips
@chinatrip Why you gettin so mad haha I agree with ironmike. He should lower his hips and there really isn't an excuse not too unless your new and there is absolutly no one in the gym but you but in the case of this video someone is obviously maning the camera and could have told him to lower his hips. Also compensating in advance for fatigue is a pretty bad excuse for bad form.
What song is playing in the background?

@kaz8666 He's in a prone position by the way. Supine would be on your back. I agree with everything else.
