It's hard to learn through video. It's perfectly normal if you can't learn through videos. It's much easier if someone shows and teaches you. Learning guitar through videos have a huge limitation visually and spatially as well as not being interactive. Don't give up!
It's good but wrong. He's playing the solo in the wrong position for most of the song. Same notes but it starts on the 7th fret G string. Otherwise good solo.
dude, dont be that guy.. you actually CAN get the same exact same note thats heard on the 7th fret of the g string on other frets.. 10th fret A string 15th fret low E string 12th fret D string 3rd fret B string.. i hate to be correcting man, but dont diss on other people for being partially wrong (cause he does mention a wrong position :P.. and well theres really no wrong position if youre playing the same note)
my understanding and memory tells me yes, this is a squealing, but squealing = artificial harmonic. what you just described 4th/16th fret are also natural harmonics as well as 0/12th/7th/9th,etc. just semantics anyway, no arguement here.
Yeah I think you're right. It sounds more like pinch harmonics or squealing. My led zeppelin sheet music book explains artificial harmonics almost like you did.
What amp do you use man? I've been playing for a while and always wondered why it doesn't sound as good as the stuff on TV... Which it's probably the amp, or you have an overdrive pedal or something??? And can you help me with tapped harmonics?
what level would this solo be like advanced intermediate??? these videos are so helpful im self teaching myself for now and there were a couple thing i did'nt know how to do but these vids sure do help
iv seen some vids and they do like, a solo and as they are nailing the scale they do a pinch harmonic, i cant quite get the sound, like on the last solo of 'i believe in a thing called love' by the darkness
What if i only have single coil pickup's?

@FacuGnR4Ever Naturally nobody can't do it at first time...

Pinch harmonics just take getting used to. I couldn't do palm mutes (which are the easiest things to do) but now I play them like they're nothing.
Falco648 2 years ago
its actually pinch harmonics and its different to artificial
artificial harmonic is like a simple harmonic that after u pluck the string for doing a harmonic, dont release but hold it still or blend it

Atcair33, do you hear yourself: "Same notes but it starts on the 7th fret ..." If you are attempting to sound smart, it's not working.

CortGuitar94 3 years ago
It's called Guitar Vision's Player.
These lessons were initially posted on a site where you paid money and you can download these videos with programs and tabs.
I don't have the latter two.

I think they're (also) known as 'tapped harmonics.'
