@moviereviews4life Did you notice this apes Superman: The Movie's three-act structure? Of course it's only about 66 minutes long, but it's still Krypton-Smallville-Metropolis. I've heard there are also a few nods to the movie, but I've not seen it in a while so I can't tell you specifically, but I think they mention the 28 inhabited galaxies or something like that.

@xJoeEDangerouslyx oh yeah they said that it was like a nod to the films, but they wanted to explore more of Krypton than Donner did, I really liked the idea that Jor-El wanted to put all Kryptonians in the Phantom Zone and have himself take the ship to another panet, it helped to make sense as to why he would make an escape pod for just one person

Definitely great addition to the DCAU, but be prepared it is a complete opposite from the Batman Animated Series.

Definitely go see it, but get the Volume 1 set, so you can see follow up episodes. Corbin becoming Metallo, Luthor finding Kryptonite and of course Brainiac coming to Earth, its all in the first volume set.
