    I've never been in USA but I'm going to go in NYC next season. I'm Italian and my English is a little British ( Italian a little bit :)). I'd ask you what American people (especially in New York) think about a stranger who speak with a British accent.

    I sometimes use the form "Have got" for the present tense of have: "I've got a new car", "Have you got the flu?" "She's got a new jacket". And I pronounce "can't" like a real British.

    Does it sound weird in NYC? Is it tolerate? Thanks
