Wow I remember EVERYONE of these commercials! Especially the Nickelodeon bumper. I remember whenever that nick bumper always aired and he says his line "Where you get slimed" I would always say "All the time" to try to rhyme what he is saying.
@DracoAzule yeah i found out , but keep in mind this is revised version. The original big help ceased in 2001. The one nowadays known as the Big Green Help only emerged last year, leaving a 9 year gap.
@PuffyZillaman4 I totally agree. the early '00s is different from the mid and late part of the '00s in every way because it's still very '90s-ish because teen pop at that time were retro cheesy than all of the stupid songs of today and there were soooooo many popular bands and singers of both pop and rock music that were popular in the late '90s and early '00s that were not popular by the mid '00s because many tastes and styles have changed unfortunately.
Maybe it's just me but it seemed like about 10 years ago it was all about getting slimed. Slime was the shit and I always wanted to see the kids get slimed... now the only thing I see is the brain drain or whatever on Brainsurge.
@LAguns1992 That was an awesome game system! I remember I called it the "Portable NES" when it came out. It may be silly for me calling it that but it had the same color pallette and the music sounded like it came from the NES, so I called it the Portable NES.
Being born in 1990, I was certainly a mid 90's - early 00's kid, so of course I have fond memories of this time period, although I can still come to terms that this period was just as commercialized and shallow as today, so I understand how the kids of today will look back fondly on iCarly and the Jonas Brothers, which is fine. Many of the shows of the 90's are awful looking back on them (overly preachy, and non-sensical to attract children's attention), so there's no need to compare.
while i agree to some of the things you say about the commercialization in 90s, you seem to forget what things that were in the 1990s that this decade has not brought. Can u remember the last on the nick they did a bumper for Dr King day or black history month? when they advocate kids to participate in volunteerism with the big help? Or when there's a been a game show (or any sport show) on nick that advocated fitness, being smart, and having fun. Im sorry but these things are lacking sir

The early '00s were good because people were still stuck in the '90s, so the early 2000s still have a '90s feel.

late 80s - late 90s were great, IMO early 2000s were not bad at all, but I agree somewhere around 2004/5 and 2009 suck badly.
