i haved this car 2...but da engine trully broken...so i want 2 chnged it..i want 2 ask u what other engine support this car..??it,s so hard 2 find this volvo 122 parts in my country...i thought i want 2 chnged engine from other models likes nissan or toyota..so what your opinions???
Better try to find a engine from 240,740 or even 940, because those engine swap is super easy! Take the old engine out and bolt in the new one! You will have the same super reability of volvo iron block + a boost in perfomance if you take the engine from 740 or 940! ;)

I think you're better off rebuilding the engine that you have.
These Volvo engines are very simple to work on. Whereas Toyota or Nissan engines would be more complicated to work on.
Also, these engines last a very long time. Easily up to 750 thousand miles.
That is my opinion.
