@opal1920able They are actually against tax cuts for the wealthy (they want them to expire and just extend tax cuts below 250,000) but Social Security is going to have to be somehow diminished if we don't want to be collapsing in debt in 40 years, which is going to happen if things stay as they are. SS and Medicare are the dominant forces in our nations budgets, it has to be done. It's time for us Americans to face up to reality: we've been spending way more than we can afford as a country.

@chaumont20 If the Republican party can survive a great depression and the watergate scandal, progressives can survive this. Economics is far more complicated than even foreign policy. We still can't agree on what caused the Great Depression. And we can't really prevent a depression with 100% accuracy because we can't really control the free markets.
In a decade or two when gay marriage becomes legalized on a federal level, at least I can feel comfortable that my ideology was on the moral side

@chaumont20 Unemployment has gone down since he took office, and many who disagree with his healthcare plan do so because they feel it doesn't go far enough! Those are more facts. Has progress come fast enough? No. But to diminish the progress made is to be willfully ignorant. We're in a global financial meltdown. This has more to it than just the party in office, it's happening worldwide. Are China and Britain in a finical crisis because of the Democratic party?

@Jonmad17 Unemployment was at 8.5% when he took office. The Stimulus package was suppose to bring unemployment to 8%. We are now at 9.7%. The Democrats plan of "Affordable Housing" is why we are where we are.

Obama raised my taxes By 1500.00 dollars a year he did away with the Bush tax cuts, he shifted troops but didnt bring them home. there are more local democrats for local election purpose's. But America Has Spoken we are tired of liberal democrats, and obama, if you don't like it here you can always move to commonist , socialist russia where they are just like what you want America to be..

@juniorbeasley115 I don't think you understand economic or political policy. First, Russia is no longer Communist (which you spelled incorrectly). Second, I don't want to live in a socialist country because I believe in the free market. Third, there are far more registered Democrats than Republicans. And last, middle class taxes actually went down under Obama.

How are political parties going to work together when their views are so different? I say we do away with politcal parties and just have people run based on what they would bring to our country if elected. I think sometiems people vote for someone just because of their political affiliation.

What just happened with the Federal Reserve will further weaken the US dollar. The goal is for China and the Reserve to own America and we'll pay the price .. We're seeing it already! If you want child nutrition get rid of Aspertame, High Fructose Corn Syrup and MSG! This guy is so phony .. Obama will spend every penny he get get his hands on. We do not want Obamacare at a 30% increase in health premiums. I'll finish watching this nerd later and I'm sure I'll have additional comments.
