Vostro 1510 NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS Errors

I have a vostro 1510 with a GF 8400M as well. It used to work flawlessly for about a year, then out of a sudden it died. Black screen. When connected to an external monitor it displayed a chess board made of artifacts. So i sent it for repair, payed a lot to get it fixed and got it back. It served me for an 'exaggerating' one month, then it died the same way again. Luckily I had a warranty so I sent it again. Got it a week ago and today, while watching a movie I started getting artifacts .....

There is a known issue for the VGA card overheats duo to bad air-flow design in the Vostro 1510 model.

Grr same sh*t for me. Doesn't even boots. Lets hope the card can be replaced!

My vostro 1510 with the same graphic card died as of today. Had a screen full of artifacts. After several reboots it totally went black :-( I hope the graphic card is removable, and replacable. The Vostro 1500 video card can be replaced, not sure about the 1510 , though.

i have the same problem i is somthing with the drivers my laptop is currently in repair for this
