@ojoreakatheoj Did the millions of Russians that starved to death under Lenin and Stalin have 'the right' to not starve to death? Probably; but because they believed in that right, they starved to death.
@guyjohn59 This is in response your example with the Russians under Lenin and Stalin. You say that because they believed they had the right to NOT starve, they starved to death? I don't see how that is, and I don't see what you're meaning to say about healthcare as a right.
@ojoreakatheoj The government sold them the myth that if they adopted communism, everything would be 'socially owned',-everyone would have a 'right' to everything, which is a myth. In reality, the farms and the factories went to a bureaucracy which had no means of knowing the exchange ratios or prices since they owned everything, and as a result millions of Russians starved. So just beileiving in a so-called 'right' might actually harm you depending on what is actually meant beyond the rhetoric.
Healthcare is not a right! We only have unalienable Rights. When these Rights are viewed through the prism of science (see my channel video), one will find they apply to all Life, from bacteria to humans, and Social systems, including Charles Darwin’s research; as in some Grand Unification principle for all Living-systems. Most understand the Laws of Nature trumps mortals in power; a new understanding of these Rights may help make this world a better place to live.
The people who decide that they are not going to pay taxes to pay for education or healthcare should be given no help for themselves when they get sick and should be made to pay retroactively all of the money that it took to get them through school since birth and every single doctor's bill.
And also, those people should be forced to be sterilized so that they cannot ruin the lives of any children they may decide to have.
Oh and.. you can't suddenly decide you want it when u get sick, so noSSI
If something that other people have work to provide (education, healthcare) is designated as a right, then to uphold that right means take the product of other people's labour away from them under the threat of force (to pay for people to receive those services that have been designated as a universal right).
If you believe that threatening peaceful people is unnacceptable, you must oppose the idea that there can be a 'right' to things like education and healthcare.
Since when has the "right to free speech" been interpreted as a mandate for the government to hand out calligraphy pens and goat hides? When has anyone interpreted the right to keep and bare arms as a mandate for the government to force people to have slingshots?
I used the outlandish examples of the material items used to satisfy the conditions of the rights to illustrate that what is considered a satisfactory material necessary to indulge these rights will vary greatly for the individual.
if the legal constituents of a state decided they do not want state education inside that state's jurisdiction, just by common sense law and coincidentally by our well written constitution, they are able to do that. there is no conflict with any old conservative/classic liberal(what conservatives were used to be called as) ideology. don't you think an obvious conflict like this would be spotted on first sight when the constitution was written, given how well read our founders were. lets stop.
i realize the age of this video is over a year, and it is possible for an individual to learn much over the span of a year especially during this heated political cycle whereby even a not so bright person should by intellectual diffusion have obtained certain degree of insight of issues he was oblivious to. i can tell from this video that you are not very knowledgeable about the constitution. those not mentioned in the constitution are reserved to the states--education, which is wut states do.
Where in the constitution does it say anything about education or health care? Nowhere. Therefore, under the 10th Amendment, these issues are directed to the states to decide.
We have a constitution for a reason. Just because a few people believe it's a right, doesn't make it so. It both health care and education are going to be fundamental rights granted by the federal government, the constitution must be amended. Until then, the govt. can't intrude.
I also want to clarify education is not provided to everyone. Yes it HAS BEEN provided to everyone, but no 30 year old who forgot what they learned in highschool gets to go back to highschool. Education is only provided by the government for kids, and the kids have to return the favor, when they become adults, for the next generation.
Clothes are essential for everyone, as a matter of fact if im not wearing any, I could get arrested for indecent exposure (and trust me, you dont want to see me without my clothes on). Without clothes, I am at an unequal playing field, so I demand the governemnt provide me and everyone else with clothes.
@cwsnow Give me a break, the majority of clothes were donatations, and even if the government gives clothes out via homeless shelter, its not even close to a right, I don't go to a homeless shelter for a nice suit if I have a job interview. I mean was there really a point to what you wrote?
@achilles6822 i love donatations. and you dont get free healthcare-provided cosmetic surgery if you want to be a model, so dont use stupid examples to compare healthcare with clothing.
@cwsnow Comparing cosmetic surgery to a suite is whats stupid. I used a suite as an example of nice clothing. Try going to a job interview without dressing nicely, see if you get hired. People can go without cosmetic surgery, but its not a "level playing field" (as said in the video) if not everyone has the same opprtunity to get hired. And it doesn't suprise me that you love donations.
@achilles6822 stop being wrong, it doesnt help your argument.
my first job i got in a jeans and t-shirt, and my second job i wore a nice shirt that i bought with the money from my first job. capitalism working, i guess. and the donatations comment was just to point out that despite using correct capitalizations and punctuations to try to sound smarter than you are, you managed to spell donations wrong. now are you done fighting a baseless argument?
@cwsnow Attacking a typing error? Ignoring the fallacy that I must be trying to sound smarter then I am because I spelled a word wrong, you basically poved my point. You wore nice clothes to an interview, got both jobs, and even admitted capitalism was working. How am I wrong? How is my argument baseless? The guy in the video was using the reason that health insurance should be a right because it provides helps provide a level playing field. My satirical comment was just pointing out (cont.)
@cwsnow (cont) that providing a "level playing field" isn't necessarily a good reason. My argument isn't baseless, and you have yet to prove it otherwise. The only thing you have done was accuse me of being wrong without any real reason. To answer your question, yes I am done arguing with you.
You have a very logical mind. Now all you have to do is understand that John Locke's philosophy is at the heart of the founding philosophy of this nation. Therefore, this is a nation based on natural rights...not phoney rights (the right to this, that and the other provided for by government stealing other people's money). If you want to say "I don't care about the founding philosophy or the limitations imposed by the constitution...I want "free" healthcare" I suppose you can say that.
Natural rights do not impose an obligation on others except the negative obligation to refrain from violating your rights. Positive rights (also called human rights, phoney rights, wishes and more) require that the natural rights of others be violated in order to provide YOU with (fill in the blank) healthcare, education, a trip to Disney World or whatever. The statists don't understand, or don't accept, the idea of property ownership. They take your money and spend it on "entitlements".
This 9 year old does not know how to think for himself. As someone who actually works in health care at one of America's largest hospital systems, I am exhausted from all of these conservative liars misrepresenting health care. Grow up twerp.
Your argument holds if that is the reason people support public education, but there are other possible reasons to support public education.
If one's argument has a component of the idea public education to get an educated electorate so that the political system can work, I'm not sure healthcare needs to be provided for that goal, or at least healthcare would help far fewer people than would education (70%+ attend public schools whereas government provided healthcare is projected to help 10%).
at 34 seconds in, you say that rights did not come from God they came from enlightenment philosophy.....note: the enlightenment philosophy was that there were certain god-given inalienable rights
boy, i've mad a LOT of posts on many you tube videos...yet, not ONCE has anybody made a cogent, logical argument to prove me wrong...and I've done so well myself, more than a few people have changed their usernames to avoid my arguments!
i love all you assholes! the more you talk, the more you prove your ignorance and stupidity!
If ONE person has an adverse reaction to a drug, vulture trial lawyers sue for miliions of dollars. Two people make out...the lawyer and the ONE person that had the bad reaction. but hundreds of thousands, or even millions of others that benefit from the drug either can longer procure it, it it's cost skyrockets because of frivolous lawsuits.
somehow, poor, lazy failures think " we are all born equal" means ' we all end out equal"!
"born equal" mens equal under the eyes of the law. but it DOESN'T MEAN WE ALL END OUT EQUAL!!!" WHO THINKS A HIGHSCHOOL DROPOUT DESERVES THE SAME AS A DOCTOR THAT STUDIES 8-12 YEARS? SPENDS YEARS AS AN INTERN SPENDING 24 HOUR SHIFTS IN A HOSPITAL? DO YOU THINK A HIGHSCHOOL DROPOUT WITH 4 BABIES DESERVES AS MUCH AS THAT DOCTOR?
A "right" is a concept which applies to human interaction, not material goods or services. You either have a right to initiate force against another person, or you have the right to remain free from the initiation of force by others. There is no "right" to health care or anything else.
we seem to agree about rights, but you are trying to intellectualize too much.
a right is something you are born with that causes no physical or financial sacrifice on any other citizen.
you have the right to speak your mind...you have the right to protect yourself, practice any religion ( or no religion if you desire). but when you believe someone else has to give something up so you get something, that is not a right.
determining what is a God given right is simple. if the exercise of your presumed right inherently infringes on the rights of other individuals, it is not a right. obviously then, things such as food, shelter, health care, etc. though necessities, are not rights, since demanding those without paying for them naturally infringes on the property rights of others from who they are demanded. however, the freedom of an individual to acquire these through lawful means is a right.
@mlkkkkkkk youre not forced to buy something you dont want, you can keep your health insurance how it is right now if you want, or you can go with the public option, or you can have no insurance, but then you have to pay more so that when you DO get sick, or anyone else gets sick, there will be some money to cover your selfish asses. god damnit, i suppose if you didnt have a car you would complain about having to pay taxes to pay for roads too?
Good video James. Your video is honest. Btw, you can have universal health care under libertarianism where a group of people consent to have a pay into a pot healthcare system and to access it when they need it.
Some people believe they have the right to medical goods and services. I, on the other hand, think that we all have the right to a free pocket fisherman. But wait, there's more. Pass legislation now and receive a free automatic food dehydrator.
oh yell, jeff...i'm driving a toyota, but I want an aston martin. i mean, if ONE person can own an aston martin, then we all havethe RIGHT to an Aston, don't we?
and better yet, I have the RIGHT to sleep until the sidewalks get warm and the mailman comes by with your generous contribution to my car payment.
BUT WAIT!!! i need a mansion with a 5 car garage to park my aston...next to my ferrari and land rover! I WON'T WORK... GIVE ME MORE OF YOUR MONEY YOU GREEDY, HARD-WORKING PIG!
you work 12, 14...18 hours a day and you think you deserve more than than my welfare momma, "may babie's daddy" crack whore 17 yr old highschool dropout?
You are evil! you should understand how you have stolen prosperity from my lazy ass and realize you should spend the rest of your life in jail for being successful!
( for you idiots that don't get it.... this is satire!!!).
That's not the problem with the US system. The problem is that the USA does NOT regulate the prices that the pharmaceutical industry charges, which is why it costs you guys so much. We have 60+ million people using our system. 85% of people qualify for no prescription charges. 12.5% of UK people have private health insurance and 2.5 million have that provided directly by their employer. It's a shame that Americans are far too uneducated to see things differently.
one reason prescriptions cost more in the U.S. is, our pharmaceutical companies bear the costs of developing new drugs...AND the development cost of the hundreds of drugs that never get approved by our FDA. But other nations can buy those drugs from U.S> companies cheaply, because they don't have to pay for research and development.
The second biggest problem with our health care system is FUCKING LAWYERS!
my right to free speech, right to privacy, trial by a jury of my peers, or to keep and bear arms costs NOTHING to any other citizen.
But, DEMANDING i pays your bills is THEFT!!!
Please don't argue we all need health care. we all need food, shelter and clothes too. should our food be free? our clothes? maybe i should by you a house?
I know it's been a while but anyway you asked me: "If I scrape my knee, do I have the right to demand a Band-Aid?"
The answer is if America (you, your family, friends and nieghbours) paid for that service through your taxes then yes you have the right just the same as everyone else.
well, americans don't really pay for those services through taxes. control-freak politicians want to throw you bones and scraps of food so you become dependant on them. the only way they can pay for it, is to STEAL from citizens. The Government is supposed to protect us from enemies, foreign and domestic. if you think it's so wonderful to pay other people's bills, double up and pay what the government steals from me.
Public education in America is shit. Look up Belgian public education. At least there, stipend money is attached to the student, not the school == bad schools get shut down. Applying the same shitty American model of public education to American public health care is going to be the straw that broke the camel's back.
Pls don't thumbs down or reply, if you don't have a favorite economist.
oh and christ, can we go into "animal rights" and " envoronmental rights?"
When animals and plants start paying taxes, serving on jury duty, and volunteering for military service, then I'll be willing to grant them rights. in the menatime, everytime you vote for " environmental protection" or "animal rights"... You are taking money out of your wallet and flushing it down the john.
and you wonder why your children have to move out of your local community to find a job?
My grandfather, who I am still fortunate to have with me today at age 95, was one of those Poles, with a sixth-grade education.
It's so demented how vouchers became an issue in the first place. Why not just a tax cut for those who do not use public education? Well, from what I read, the whole corrupt system was started as a result of anti-Catholic bias in the late 19th century. The state of Oregon even tried to ban parochial schools outright.
Public education in America is shit? Is that why we're the most technically advanced nation and super power of the world? I'm not for the health care, I'm against it 100%, just like calling people out on their mistakes.
For starters, how come so many ppl cannot understand a mortgage agreement in this country? That's one of many things that should be focused upon...and that's a fringe issue that even applies to well-funded schools in the burbs.
How many ppl from the inner-city get the education required to participate in American technological superiority from public schools?
If you're from Chicago like me, you may realize that many students here spend a lot of mental energy just figuring out which way to walk home from school without getting shot.
when my wife and I bought a house 12 years ago, we borrowed about 60% of our credit line. we knew inflation and tax increases would affect our future mortgage payments.
my wife died about 2 1/2 yrs ago at 42 yrs old of numerous cancers. because of our wise decision, i am still (barely) capable of paying my mortgage. but when people make foolish decisions and don't plan on the future...they deserve to be foreclosed.
@thordoggie I feel your pain. Liberal fallacy prevails over history, statistics, facts, and simple logic. If they get it wrong they don't worry about the consequences just the ability to do it their way again. I look forward to November.
@joe035 Why have schools? Why have a fire department? Why have a police department? Why have an army? Why have taxes at all? You ignorant people keep telling your lies but lots of REPUBLICANS are out of work with no insurance...thanks to Georgie and Cheney.
@roccoh21 No one claimed government doesn't serve a purpose it is the EXTENT of that service that deserves question!! Obama has continued Bush's policies & spending spree why are you so complacent?
NOBODY...well, maybe very few people sign a mortgage without a lawyer.
If you're signing a mortgage that obligates you to responsibilities that you really can't afford, either you have an asshole lawyer ( well that describes 99% of lawyers), or you are very greedy and think you deserve far more than you can afford.
either way, a mortgage is a legal contract. you can't pay the mortgage?...goodbye house! you deserve what you get!!!
Ahh Rights are NOT given to you by anyone you are born with them (i.e. endowed by our creator ..certain inalienable rights.. life liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness) the only thing a person can do is infringe on your rights. Use or access to a machination of man is subject to agreement or purchase and can not be considered a basic human right.
If all the doctors were suddenly plucked from the earth would your "human rights" be suddenly diminished by this? Of course not.
you may be born with rights, but you always have to fight for em. Cause there is always someone trying to take em. You can agree or not. It doesnt matter. Like me, I like guns and I have plenty. If you want them then you will just have to come take em. And that goes for HC too. HC is out there. But I should not have to pay for yours. I have mine, get yours.
Why did you bring up the guns example? Why don't you answer the question about the basic education for all children in America instead? You pay for it, just like any working adult does. Otherwise, how would we be able to provide it to all the kids for free? Is basic education right or privilege in your opinion? And why do you believe that access to basic health care for everybody is different. Please stay on the topic and answer the question.
Dont recall a question from u? What is your question. u stay on the topic. Whats education got 2 do with it? I can answer a question anyway I want. I dont answer 2 u or 2 anyone else. But if it makes your pecker hard, I couldnt care less about HC. I got mine, get yours. The govt does not know anything about HC just like cars & especially finance since they r 3.8 Trillion more n the red n the last six months. HC should not b mandated. Is that a good enough answer 4 ya? What did education do 4 u?
With the plan right now, no one is going to raise taxes, there is no money being stolen. the governments trying to systematically lower health insurance costs, the insurers lose money when that happens that is why they spread rumours and want you to believe otherwise. If you are literate then knowing that, you're probably not going to debate further. The real problem though is education, clearly.
Nothing is free. To get a benefit, it must be financed. It cannot exist for free. It must be paid for. If that is the case, why cant the govt work for free?
Virtually everyone thinks birth is a miracle. To me its just the results of two people fuckin. So since you sound like someone that believes in a miracles, its apparent your birth will be the last one you see, since you require someone else to keep you fit, since it took two people to create you. Amazing, you were given birth and life, and now you want someone to take care of ya too. A typical limey.
Americans r already lazy. Why do u think that so many companies outsource? Its not just over cheaper labor but its a double bonus 2 the industries. Cheaper labor & higher output. Dont blame the indians, chinese, mexicans or the businesses. A corporation does not exist to create jobs. It exists to make money, period. Jobs r only a bi-product of the corporation. If all companies could replace people with machines & production or output would not be effected, they would & I would not blame em.
I agree - it's natural selection. A company will not survive unless it makes profit it's #1 goal. This is why we can not expect them to provide quality health care. It's why 50 million American citizens have no health care at all. Some of our needs are too important to be left in the hands of greed driven capitalist pigs. Health care is one of them.
So why is a govt any different when it becomes a auto builder and financial advisor to the usa when it cant even balance its own budget? Remember now, you are the ones that seem to think the govt can do this. And if they can, no problem, I simply dont want to be a part of it cause I have health care which the govt cannot match.
Are you familiar with the term "orphan drugs". If not wiki it. these are drugs that are not econoically profitable, but are necessary. Is it fair to let people die because they come down with no profit or low profit diseases? No. Is it fair to force drug companies to shoulder the cost? Well it's better than the first option, but no it's still not fair. As a society we share the burden and the benefit. That's what Obama is trying to do. Should those 54 million Americans go without?
I dont care what he does with the not so fortunate. If he gives em health care I dont have a problem with that. But dont charge me 4 it, I dont want it. I have my own health care. He can give health care anyone he wants. As long as it is not mandated, and no increase in my taxes he can do what he wants. Just pray Phizer & the drug companies dont do what Halliburton did.
So you won't be using the road in front of your house? What about the tax payer money that ensures the food and drugs you consume aren't lethal? You don't want to use our internet, so you? See you take for granted the "freebies" other tax payers hand you, so don't be so greedy - understand? You have received far more than you are being asked to contribute. Don't believe me? Go live in Afghanistan where "individuals" live. You'll see.
My tax money already pays 4 the road in front of my house. What ever that fuckin means? I live & work overseas right now, the middle east 4 that matter. I have been overseas for 45 years. Greed comes from Liberals wanting someone elses money. I worked for mine. Individuality has worked just fine 4 me 4 decades. If u cant make life happen, thats your problem. Use your head. Its on your shoulders 4 more than hanging a hat. Thats why we have tax breaks to get around tax increases.
How can anyone b greedy with their own money? When u covet someone elses accomplishments that is greed. Look up Greed n Websters & get back with me.
Sounds like u r the one that is greedy. People like u want someone elses accomplishments. It doesnt matter what u think of me, it only matters what I think. Successful living is about using your accomplishments 2 your advantage. U had better learn to ake care of yourself. Cause if u dont, who will? Thats not greed, thats responsibility.
When we fail to properly fund government it cant work. When it fails its the working class who feel the pinch. Pot holes in the road we have to drive through are flown over by the rich. Thats why they constantly assault government services and whine about paying taxes. I dont like seeing the luckiest members of our society avoid their responsibilities.
Well then, you should know you shouldnt open your mouth before you know all the facts. I paid $81K in US Taxes alone last year and dont even live in the states. So when you consider some to be lucky, I think you need to include people such as yourself whom are driving on roads that are being paid for by other americans that cant use them at all, including the rich that you say are flying over them. Surely you have a better example?
So can I withold my taxes because 50% of it goes to murdering Iraqis? Line item veto type taxes? I would put 100% of my taxes to good things, not murder. If you have a say I should to.
Murder? If u think so. The nigger is supposed 2 be pulling out. I wonder why that is not happening? Cmon over here. U seem 2 know so much about afghanistan. Remember, your relatives fought & died 4 u 2 say what u say. So n reality, u or your relatives may have assisted n the process. We all have 2 pay some type of price. I pay 81K a year n taxes. How about u? If u have participated n the process as much as me, u can hold your head high as me. Dont u love utube?
Hold on here - You are in Afghanistan currently and you pay $81,000 in taxes? Unless the military has had some massive pay hikes since I served it's safe to assume you are a contractor rather than a solider. As such the $81 K we got back in the form of takes is a drop in the bucket compared to mountain of cash you've made in the "no-bid" federal pork distribution scheme Bush fucked us with. Lets be clear. WWII was the last time any soldier fought for my rights. The rest are bullshit.
U mentioned Afghanistan not me. I'm in Saudi. Read my profile. I am sure my 81K that I donate the the US govt (which does not include SS, cause I am funded through a foreign govt & there is no sense n paying 2 SS if it does u no good) far exceeds your donation. U have 2 compare apples with apples. U cant compare the consumer with the product. Surely u have been educated more than that? If not I understand your harsh feelings towards people that make money. Someone stole your brain cells.
Paying a debt you owe isn't "donating"; its paying your debts. Don't let your greed over power common sense. In order for you to owe $80K in year in taxes your income would be roughly $230K depending on your particulars. Why shouldnt your obligation to the source of your income be commensurate to your earnings? If you dont like paying the cost of first class tickets fly coach. Starving the plane of fuel trying to recoup money you dont need is just going the wreck it for all us.
Remember, I work & live outside the USA. Greed is not about earned income. If u wish 2 call them that u have that right. 2 earn something, that means u had to give something, so how is that greed? 2 work/live outside the USA, u r allowed the first $85K tax free. Actually I earned over $375K last year. I beat the sys several ways. Since I work for a foreign govt, I dont pay Social Security, cause I have already paid the max for my benefit. Why should I pay more if it does not benefit me?
Im sure if the IRS picked my bones they could come up with monies owed. I cant recall the amount at the moment but I think after your income goes over $90K a year your SS tax does not increase. The GOP imply that since the rich wont use or need the benefit they should not have to pay in but the statistical information available shows regardless of the need the wealthy pull every nickel out when they can. So I think they should pay in like the rest of us.
Once u reach the peak in SS, u continue 2pay but it does not go 2 your account, but continues 2 pay 4 others. I reached mine three years ago. Luckily my paycheck does not fall under the US govt. If youre not going to get a benefit from it, why pay. That is why I dont pay SS anymore yet can collect the maximum amount when I reach retirement age. The word Rich is relative. I may be rich to some people, but not to a hollywood movie star.
There r many people that say the rich should pay more cause they have more. If this is the case, shouldnt the working class work more since they know how 2 work? If u really want things fair, shouldnt everyone give up something of the same value? If not, then it is not a fair system. If that is so, the people that work, should work more 4 the same money cause they r "good" at working? If u disagree, then it is not fair. If HC is a right, then someone who doesnt want it, should not have 2 pay.
This is a classic mistake made by the rich. If income was almways reflective of your contribution I would agree but the lower the wage I made the harder I worked for it. Now I'm in a cushy do nothing job, and it's criminal how much I'm paid comapred to when I was 19 breaking my ass for $7.00 an hour! The rich NEED society or else they could not be rich so they do indeed owe more to it.
The definition the IRS uses for rich is $250,000 a year and up. I understand you point about not paying for somthing that doesn't benefit you. Of every dollars I've even paid into the gov roughly half has been wasted on a over blown DOD. I do not benefit from the Army murdering innocent Muslim civilians. If I could ensure none of my $ went to the genocide against Islam I would use that money saved for moral things.
I didnt benefit from the $3.8 Trillion dept developed this year alone on AIG, GM and others either. Moral things to you may be inmoral to others. I live in a Muslim country and yes there are hard feelings about americans to some and not others. Personally I dont give a shit what they think
Well, glad u mentioned that. I pay income, school, road, sales & property taxes, just 2 name a few & I dont even live n the states. I still pay & I do not benefit from em. However that is the hand I have chosen 2 play. So why more taxes? Like I said, I dont consider HC a right, but if the US Govt want 2 get into that no problem. It shouldnt be mandated, If they force me 2 pay, I will just get another tax break or breaks 2 counter it. I have health insurance already that I pay 4. Why pay twice?
What I'm getting at is what's your connection to the USA? You send taxes in b/c you are a fan? I don't understand. You work for the government of Saudi Arabia. are you on a temp work visa?
I am a US Citizen, born in the State of Missouri. Paying Taxes is not the law in the states as much as everyone would like to think. Its filing the taxes that will sink ya. I must file taxes every year. I live in work in Saudi so that classifies me as a Bonifide Resident of Saudi Arabia. Therefor, I get the first tax break in the US tax laws which is the first $85K is tax free. everything over that is taxed accordingly. I have a resident visa and live in Saudi.
My wife's aunt lived in Yemen for years and years working in (natually) the oil industry. She's retired now but had some stories. A buddy of mine is an aviation certified industrial welder and is always in the M.E. making bank. He was in Maldives on vacation when the big tsunami hit. I like money - but that much travel - no thanks. Back to taxes - I agree with you. You have you life outside of the US, you should not have to pay all sorts of money here.
As a tax payer, u should be demanding a reduction n "over blow DOD" before any future taxes. Dont keep feeding the beast. It's hypocritical when people seem 2 know more about my income than I do. As far as Musliim civilians, I didnt know u could put a price on anyones freedom. I dont know what u should pay, but I have my own limit what I am willing 2 give up. Anything over that, requires me 2 take action 4 my own behalf. My allegiance 2 my wife & family is held in higher regard than a flag.
You must admit your siuation is not "boiler-plate. If you live in another country and work for non US firm - then yes - you have a better case on your hands in my opinion. It harkins back to the "no taxation without representation" stuff. As for loyalty to your family above all else - I agree 100% and wouldn't have it any other way myself.
How could the IRS even know what you make? It's pretty much "honor system" for you isn't it? Obama's closing the Swiss tax shelter stuff down so you might want to start shopping around for a new nation to ware house funds! The Swiss have been given a list by Obama contianing the names of 52,000 Americans hiding money with them. The IRS estimates they're recover $15 Billion a year. That's some scratch.
Not hardly, I wish. We have 2 produce official documents showing what we have earned. Swiss Tax Shelters r ancient history. They dont pay enough anyway. The dumbies use the banks. Besides, u can get tax free shelters n virtually every country including the USA. Did u know a foreigner with a green card that lives in the USA, does not have 2 pay tax if his money is earned outside the USA? Yet an american living & working outside the USA must pay taxes? Hypocritical. Politicians & their agendas.
Brazil? South American coutries r notorious 4 bank failures, or govt taking over banks, & your money will b partially or totally lost. Only certain countries do not have agreements with the USA on accounts info being turned over 2 the authorities & also be stable govts. Brazil is not stable. There r stable countries that have much better rates than switzerland & also have much better stability than Brazil. I worked in Brazil 4 a while & I wouldnt trust em with a dollar.
A teeny bopper that thinks people who have should have not and people who have not should have. Its a laughable situation. Arent you glad to be American? After all without the USA would have never had Utube. Dont you love this shit.
Then Niggers should all work in the field or the majority of em anyway. I totally agree. If the majority of the rich should pay more, then the majority of po people should work more.
So u think the taxes u r paying now, will pay 4 the health care? Our current tax system will not pay 4 health care. There must be a premium that u pay the govt to pay for the HC, the same as insurance companies. Afterall Doctors and Nurses dont work for free and the hospitals dont get free electricity. If it is mandated (you must pay even if you dont want it) that is wrong. But since the US govt is now in the finance & car business, why not the medical business too?
You must be a bit slow, or you don't pay taxes yourself. I personally contribute over $10k a year to the gov't in 'income tax'. I go to the doctor once a year at the most and I've been to hospital once in my life to have my appendix out. I am 100% sure my 'tax' covers any medical expenses that I have accumulated. Defending the gov't for forcing people to pay 'income tax' and a premium for health care is uninformed and unintelligent. Without our tax, the gov't would be screwed, and they know it.
I am glad to see you agree with me...except I was referring to YOU. The typical white-trash American with the intellectual level of a half-chewed peanut who drops the "n bomb" to try and provoke a reaction. Whereas all the while you just reveal how limited your level of intelligence is. You are a 51 year old that intentionally picks fights with people on youtube. Can you say "I failed at life"?
Well, I guess that is your opinion. And you know what they say about opinions? They r like assholes, everybody has 1. As long as the premium is not mandated, more power to ya. It will not work unless it is mandated, & it will not become law if it is mandated. Dont blame me. There r about 100 million that feel the same way I do, maybe more. Its amazing small corporations can do this, As long as the nigger doesnt charge me 2 help pay 4 someone else, have fun. I hope your pecker gets hard.
no, that doesnt make my pecker hard. But thats just because I don't find that sexual in the slightest. Heres the great bit though...if my pecker didn't get hard at all, MY COUNTRY'S HEALTH CARE SYSTEM WOULD LOOK AFTER IT.
It makes your pecker hard, since u figure Health care will take care of it. It makes my pecker hard knowing all of u r so worried about it. We all get ill occassionally, & only once n your life u die. It sounds if u really only have 1worry. Getting sick is only foreplay. So until that day comes, I am going 2 worry a bit more about living than dying. U worry about what ever u wish. U never, know, thoughts & happiness should be taxed 2 since not everyone is on the same level.
PUBLIC OPTION !is the best but if you dont like it just buy something else.. there will always be private companys to go to...this is only for the uninsured and those who want it...I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE THINK THIS WILL LIMIT CHOICE? RIGHT NOW 47 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE NO CHOICE THEY HAVE NO HEALTHCARE AND YOU ARE PAYING THEIR WAY ALREADY!! AT LEAST WITH PUBLIC OPTION WE CAN PREVENT THESE PEOPLE FROM ENDING UP IN E.R. ..SUPPORT THE PUBLIC OPTION!!EITHER WAY WE WILL PAY WHY NOT GET BEST DEAL
Speaking in Caps Lock does not help you make your point
I live in Canada, & i reject the public option as moral
I'm forced under the threat of violence to pay taxes for a system which does not help me or my family
I personally buy private insurance in canada, because i've seen the horrors of our single-payer system first hand. I would never leave my kids to that
I literally know 3 human beings that went to Vets for MRI's because our public system is basically a slow over-priced bureaucracy
Over priced? Prices here are over priced..Good for you pal,you make enough money to afford it,what about the millions of other people expected to work for far less and can't afford it??what's your answer to them pal??or do you think a 7- 8 dollar an hour job person can afford those cost
And of course the public option is appealing to most people.
Who doesn't want something for free?
If the government had an agent handing out money on the street corner, everyone would want to get their hands on some.
This does not make it a practical solution.
In order for it to be "free", you are essentially saying that you are willing to initiate violence to steal from people who do not agree with your public dream.
Health care is not a right! You do not OWN the right to a doctors labor!
FREE You say?? Look buddy boy I worked for quite a few companies that didn't offer insurance or what they had didn't cover shit, and to top it all they don't even want to pay a living wage..The majority of people out there without insurance to put it very bluntly (CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY FOR IT)
Funny you should be talking about health care(You live in Canada)?Last time I checked they have universal health care there..Now tell me how you have the right to deny the same right to people here in the US,better yet how is it your business?
Health care is not a right! You do not OWN the right to a doctors labor! You live in Canada right? So what gives you the right to comment on this bill here in the US?? I love people that get to the top and then split on everybody beneath them...Good job buddy I just hope you can stay at the top for your sake
Now here's a guy with a head on his shoulders "AND YOU ARE PAYING THEIR WAY ALREADY!!" I couldn't have put it any better..Corporations pay shit and the people end up on section 8 and get state health care which we all end up paying anyway... While corporations and shareholders make huge profits...Anything wrong with this picture?
If it is mandated, it is wrong. The majority of the people who dont want it r afraid it will be mandated either now or n the near future. I am 1 of em. I dont want it mandated ever. This will keep the insurance AND THE GOVT honest. The best deal 4 who? I pay $200 a month 4 my entire family 4 the rest of my life, no co payment, no deductible & a cap limit of $5 mil. I will listen if the govt can beat that. U will have 2 pay, NOTHING IS FREE. If u think it is free, u do need the govts support.
Going back to the "what's it worth to me" way of looking at things - forcing people to use private industry for health care sucks because it is a vital part of our lives. Again - Xbox, Nike or corvettes - sure - "free market" what the market will bear I'm good with that. Where I draw the line is the NEEDS of life. Food, shelter, water, health care. I should not be forced to pay extra $ so Donald Trump can have another helicopter. That is excess and not needed.
Going back to the "what's it worth to me" way of looking at things - forcing people If private industry can not compete with the government "not for profit" price of these necessities - then they need to stick with sneakers, video games and designer perfumes.
I dont care if they use private insurance or not. If they want govt to insure em thats fine as long as it doesnt cost me. I am taking care of myself. One of these days maybe people will learn that if you dont take care of yourself, how can you expect others to do it.
The problem is Corporations get all sorts of help from the government when the GOP are in charge, so it's hard to swallow the "boot strap" argument from the right.
So is that why there is food stamps, free HC any way at the hospitals, welfare and govt housing? If it wasnt for the corporations 90% of us wouldnt have a job, and you would not be here typing on this computer. Surely you have a better excuse than that?
Saying we need the wealthy to have jobs is like saying we need tape worms to have dogs. So is it your contention that prior to the advent of corporations no one worked?
why would you say that? Who said anything about we needing weathy to have jobs? Not me. Are you trying to put words in my mouth? Surely you wouldnt do that? I think you need to read again. But in case you dont go back and read, I said "If it wasnt for the corporations 90% of us wouldnt have a job." I think you are just trying to change what I actually said. Corporations are not wealthy, after all look at GM and AIG.
seriously, who are you, democratichypocrit? you sound like my white trash mother-in-law with your mouth. she wrote 2 emails to my husband calling me a nigger. i am not even african-american. so i suggest you and her need to go to an asylum. too many nuts like you are throwing venom for no reason.
I at least want the government to help out the public when it comes to infectious diseases. I do not want to get some disease from someone who couldn't afford to go to the doctor. I myself have no problem with the payment. Anyone who doesn't want the government to interfere with their health care, I say to them, "then I don't want my social security, medicaid and medicare money that is forced from my paycheck to go to you ungrateful jerkoffs."
Since I've made some pro-social health care arguments on European lines I've been inundated with nothing but abuse. Sad that some people in the US can't argue without cursing and blinding. Probably explains why it's the unhappiest country in the world... I lived there for nearly 4 years and everybody was miserable chasing that Venus Flytrap, the American dream
If you think any of the people you personally met in your life represent a an entire population, then you are a fool. How do you measure a country's "unhappiness"? I lived in the "US" for my whole life and have not heard anyone say they were searching for the "American dream", but I am sure there are people here who are searching for it outside of the Hollywood movies. I have met miserable people and a lot of them are on welfare wanting more out of life but not trying to work for it.
NO ONE in this country is refused health care. People are treated everyday in this country regardless of ability to pay.
Need look no farther than say St Judes, who saves kids everyday. Hospitals work on Pro Bono, people make private donations, church groups pitch in, or simply passing the hat.
Want to toss numbers? Better do your fucking math.
I think you remarks go towards the press more than the govt. It has porn with children, drinking heavily, high divorce rate, children out of wedlock, run away crime & so fourth. On the other hand, the USA is the only country n the world where a joe schmo can walk out & become a millionaire if he plays his cards right & has a good idea. That is what we always called the american dream. The opportunity is there if u will make the sacrifice. Sort of like health care, if u will pay 4 it u have it.
How can you say military spending is thru the roof when the nigger spent more money in six months than the entire war in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. And dont tell me it was for the good of America. This will come back to haunt us. Someone has to pay for this shit. Thats why I am retiring in 6 years, so the nigger will be taxing you more than me.
After seeing a nigger spend money like him, I am quite thankful I am not a nigger. He has no sense in finances. He did exactly what got our financial business in the situation it is in today, spend money he didnt have. Then he had the balls to tell banks they had to be more responsible. I have to laugh at his speeches. Those ole mombo lips flapping in the wind, it makes me just want to ................. shit.
Fucked? If you think so. Lord knows we want to make sure you feel right. The Nigger is a nigger. He still has the same ole jive nigger walk, and you get a bunch of em together and look what happens, the ole nigger jive bullshit starts coming out. So if you want to praise him you have every right to. And please knock your socks off. To me, hes just another nigger. You know what they say about opinions? They are like assholes, everybody has one.
Aprox 12-15 million people right off the bat are illegal aliens who shouldn't be here to begin with.
Aprox 18 million are young up-n-comers, income above 50k that chose not to purchase health insurance.
So somewhere btwn 14-16 are "uninsured" about 8 million are kids with parents that may not ne able to afford it. Public options are already available.
Get rid of the illegals, enforce the law, big chunk of that 8 million done.
We Europeans take state health care as a given. It's one of the badges of our humanity that we regard human life as precious and deserving of protection. bevause of this my father , 80, has had in the last 3 years ,a hernia operation, two replacement knees, lazer eye surgery on both eyes, free dental care, replacement hearing aids and prescription glasses...all on the National Health. not a perfect sytem, but quite a good one!
i tried explaining that to democratichypocrit , he doesnt listen and insists he aint paying tax for no oen else to get health care. stubborn old man you see.

Make it a right. Why not? Are you really that worried about paying a little more on taxes? It's not that big of a deal.
ojoreakatheoj 11 months ago
@ojoreakatheoj Did the millions of Russians that starved to death under Lenin and Stalin have 'the right' to not starve to death? Probably; but because they believed in that right, they starved to death.
guyjohn59 8 months ago
@guyjohn59 This is in response your example with the Russians under Lenin and Stalin. You say that because they believed they had the right to NOT starve, they starved to death? I don't see how that is, and I don't see what you're meaning to say about healthcare as a right.
ojoreakatheoj 8 months ago
@ojoreakatheoj The government sold them the myth that if they adopted communism, everything would be 'socially owned',-everyone would have a 'right' to everything, which is a myth. In reality, the farms and the factories went to a bureaucracy which had no means of knowing the exchange ratios or prices since they owned everything, and as a result millions of Russians starved. So just beileiving in a so-called 'right' might actually harm you depending on what is actually meant beyond the rhetoric.
guyjohn59 8 months ago
Healthcare is not a right! We only have unalienable Rights. When these Rights are viewed through the prism of science (see my channel video), one will find they apply to all Life, from bacteria to humans, and Social systems, including Charles Darwin’s research; as in some Grand Unification principle for all Living-systems. Most understand the Laws of Nature trumps mortals in power; a new understanding of these Rights may help make this world a better place to live.
Mike10four 11 months ago

If you believe that threatening peaceful people is unnacceptable, you must oppose the idea that there can be a 'right' to things like education and healthcare.
bitbutter 1 year ago
Since when has the "right to free speech" been interpreted as a mandate for the government to hand out calligraphy pens and goat hides? When has anyone interpreted the right to keep and bare arms as a mandate for the government to force people to have slingshots?
I used the outlandish examples of the material items used to satisfy the conditions of the rights to illustrate that what is considered a satisfactory material necessary to indulge these rights will vary greatly for the individual.
PumpkinJoe999 1 year ago
if the legal constituents of a state decided they do not want state education inside that state's jurisdiction, just by common sense law and coincidentally by our well written constitution, they are able to do that. there is no conflict with any old conservative/classic liberal(what conservatives were used to be called as) ideology. don't you think an obvious conflict like this would be spotted on first sight when the constitution was written, given how well read our founders were. lets stop.
spyletu 1 year ago
i realize the age of this video is over a year, and it is possible for an individual to learn much over the span of a year especially during this heated political cycle whereby even a not so bright person should by intellectual diffusion have obtained certain degree of insight of issues he was oblivious to. i can tell from this video that you are not very knowledgeable about the constitution. those not mentioned in the constitution are reserved to the states--education, which is wut states do.
spyletu 1 year ago
Where in the constitution does it say anything about education or health care? Nowhere. Therefore, under the 10th Amendment, these issues are directed to the states to decide.
We have a constitution for a reason. Just because a few people believe it's a right, doesn't make it so. It both health care and education are going to be fundamental rights granted by the federal government, the constitution must be amended. Until then, the govt. can't intrude.
MCJ62 1 year ago
I also want to clarify education is not provided to everyone. Yes it HAS BEEN provided to everyone, but no 30 year old who forgot what they learned in highschool gets to go back to highschool. Education is only provided by the government for kids, and the kids have to return the favor, when they become adults, for the next generation.

Clothes are essential for everyone, as a matter of fact if im not wearing any, I could get arrested for indecent exposure (and trust me, you dont want to see me without my clothes on). Without clothes, I am at an unequal playing field, so I demand the governemnt provide me and everyone else with clothes.
achilles6822 1 year ago
@achilles6822
you show up at a homeless shelter without clothes, they'll give you some clothes, paid for by your and everyones taxes.
cwsnow 1 year ago
@cwsnow Give me a break, the majority of clothes were donatations, and even if the government gives clothes out via homeless shelter, its not even close to a right, I don't go to a homeless shelter for a nice suit if I have a job interview. I mean was there really a point to what you wrote?
achilles6822 1 year ago
@achilles6822 i love donatations. and you dont get free healthcare-provided cosmetic surgery if you want to be a model, so dont use stupid examples to compare healthcare with clothing.
cwsnow 1 year ago
@cwsnow Comparing cosmetic surgery to a suite is whats stupid. I used a suite as an example of nice clothing. Try going to a job interview without dressing nicely, see if you get hired. People can go without cosmetic surgery, but its not a "level playing field" (as said in the video) if not everyone has the same opprtunity to get hired. And it doesn't suprise me that you love donations.
achilles6822 1 year ago
@achilles6822 stop being wrong, it doesnt help your argument.
my first job i got in a jeans and t-shirt, and my second job i wore a nice shirt that i bought with the money from my first job. capitalism working, i guess. and the donatations comment was just to point out that despite using correct capitalizations and punctuations to try to sound smarter than you are, you managed to spell donations wrong. now are you done fighting a baseless argument?
cwsnow 1 year ago
@cwsnow Attacking a typing error? Ignoring the fallacy that I must be trying to sound smarter then I am because I spelled a word wrong, you basically poved my point. You wore nice clothes to an interview, got both jobs, and even admitted capitalism was working. How am I wrong? How is my argument baseless? The guy in the video was using the reason that health insurance should be a right because it provides helps provide a level playing field. My satirical comment was just pointing out (cont.)
achilles6822 1 year ago
@cwsnow (cont) that providing a "level playing field" isn't necessarily a good reason. My argument isn't baseless, and you have yet to prove it otherwise. The only thing you have done was accuse me of being wrong without any real reason. To answer your question, yes I am done arguing with you.
achilles6822 1 year ago
@achilles6822 oh good. your attention span gave out.
cwsnow 1 year ago
You have a very logical mind. Now all you have to do is understand that John Locke's philosophy is at the heart of the founding philosophy of this nation. Therefore, this is a nation based on natural rights...not phoney rights (the right to this, that and the other provided for by government stealing other people's money). If you want to say "I don't care about the founding philosophy or the limitations imposed by the constitution...I want "free" healthcare" I suppose you can say that.
jscottupton 1 year ago
Natural rights do not impose an obligation on others except the negative obligation to refrain from violating your rights. Positive rights (also called human rights, phoney rights, wishes and more) require that the natural rights of others be violated in order to provide YOU with (fill in the blank) healthcare, education, a trip to Disney World or whatever. The statists don't understand, or don't accept, the idea of property ownership. They take your money and spend it on "entitlements".

"Providing" and "protecting" are two different things. Rights aren't given to us by the government. It's there job only to not take them away.
coaster61 1 year ago
Your argument holds if that is the reason people support public education, but there are other possible reasons to support public education.
If one's argument has a component of the idea public education to get an educated electorate so that the political system can work, I'm not sure healthcare needs to be provided for that goal, or at least healthcare would help far fewer people than would education (70%+ attend public schools whereas government provided healthcare is projected to help 10%).

thordoggie 2 years ago
A "right" is a concept which applies to human interaction, not material goods or services. You either have a right to initiate force against another person, or you have the right to remain free from the initiation of force by others. There is no "right" to health care or anything else.
iflyboats 2 years ago
we seem to agree about rights, but you are trying to intellectualize too much.
a right is something you are born with that causes no physical or financial sacrifice on any other citizen.
you have the right to speak your mind...you have the right to protect yourself, practice any religion ( or no religion if you desire). but when you believe someone else has to give something up so you get something, that is not a right.
thordoggie 2 years ago
determining what is a God given right is simple. if the exercise of your presumed right inherently infringes on the rights of other individuals, it is not a right. obviously then, things such as food, shelter, health care, etc. though necessities, are not rights, since demanding those without paying for them naturally infringes on the property rights of others from who they are demanded. however, the freedom of an individual to acquire these through lawful means is a right.

It's a shame that Americans are far too uneducated to see things differently.
chrisjamesshepherd 2 years ago
one reason prescriptions cost more in the U.S. is, our pharmaceutical companies bear the costs of developing new drugs...AND the development cost of the hundreds of drugs that never get approved by our FDA. But other nations can buy those drugs from U.S> companies cheaply, because they don't have to pay for research and development.
The second biggest problem with our health care system is FUCKING LAWYERS!

Inteligento 2 years ago
well, americans don't really pay for those services through taxes. control-freak politicians want to throw you bones and scraps of food so you become dependant on them. the only way they can pay for it, is to STEAL from citizens. Public education in America is shit. Look up Belgian public education. At least there, stipend money is attached to the student, not the school == bad schools get shut down. It's so demented how vouchers became an issue in the first place. Why not just a tax cut for those who do not use public education? Well, from what I read, the whole corrupt system was started as a result of anti-Catholic bias in the late 19th century. The state of Oregon even tried to ban parochial schools outright.
machaeroguy 2 years ago
Public education in America is shit? Is that why we're the most technically advanced nation and super power of the world? I'm not for the health care, I'm against it 100%, just like calling people out on their mistakes.
TheSuperiorAce 2 years ago
For starters, how come so many ppl cannot understand a mortgage agreement in this country? That's one of many things that should be focused upon...and that's a fringe issue that even applies to well-funded schools in the burbs.
How many ppl from the inner-city get the education required to participate in American technological superiority from public schools?
machaeroguy 2 years ago
If you're from Chicago like me, you may realize that many students here spend a lot of mental energy just figuring out which way to walk home from school without getting shot.

when my wife and I bought a house 12 years ago, we borrowed about 60% of our credit line. we knew inflation and tax increases would affect our future mortgage payments.
my wife died about 2 1/2 yrs ago at 42 yrs old of numerous cancers. because of our wise decision, i am still (barely) capable of paying my mortgage. but when people make foolish decisions and don't plan on the future...they deserve to be foreclosed.

Of course not.
carlindelco 2 years ago
you may be born with rights, but you always have to fight for em. Cause there is always someone trying to take em. You can agree or not. It doesnt matter. Like me, I like guns and I have plenty. If you want them then you will just have to come take em. And that goes for HC too. HC is out there. But I should not have to pay for yours. I have mine, get yours.
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
Why did you bring up the guns example? Why don't you answer the question about the basic education for all children in America instead? You pay for it, just like any working adult does. Otherwise, how would we be able to provide it to all the kids for free? Is basic education right or privilege in your opinion? And why do you believe that access to basic health care for everybody is different. Please stay on the topic and answer the question.
secretident2 2 years ago
Dont recall a question from u? What is your question. u stay on the topic. Whats education got 2 do with it? I can answer a question anyway I want. I dont answer 2 u or 2 anyone else. But if it makes your pecker hard, I couldnt care less about HC. I got mine, get yours. The govt does not know anything about HC just like cars & especially finance since they r 3.8 Trillion more n the red n the last six months. HC should not b mandated. Is that a good enough answer 4 ya? What did education do 4 u?
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
I'm not asking for it.. I'm not for the health care plan.. did u comment me thinking I was for it? lol
carlindelco 2 years ago

If all companies could replace people with machines & production or output would not be effected, they would & I would not blame em.
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
I agree - it's natural selection. A company will not survive unless it makes profit it's #1 goal. This is why we can not expect them to provide quality health care. It's why 50 million American citizens have no health care at all. Some of our needs are too important to be left in the hands of greed driven capitalist pigs. Health care is one of them.
BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
So why is a govt any different when it becomes a auto builder and financial advisor to the usa when it cant even balance its own budget? Remember now, you are the ones that seem to think the govt can do this. And if they can, no problem, I simply dont want to be a part of it cause I have health care which the govt cannot match.
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
Are you familiar with the term "orphan drugs". If not wiki it. these are drugs that are not econoically profitable, but are necessary. Is it fair to let people die because they come down with no profit or low profit diseases? No. Is it fair to force drug companies to shoulder the cost? Well it's better than the first option, but no it's still not fair. As a society we share the burden and the benefit. That's what Obama is trying to do. Should those 54 million Americans go without?
BlameRepublicans 2 years ago

You'll see.
BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
My tax money already pays 4 the road in front of my house. What ever that fuckin means? I live & work overseas right now, the middle east 4 that matter. I have been overseas for 45 years. Greed comes from Liberals wanting someone elses money. I worked for mine. Individuality has worked just fine 4 me 4 decades. If u cant make life happen, thats your problem. Use your head. Its on your shoulders 4 more than hanging a hat. Thats why we have tax breaks to get around tax increases.
democratichypocrit 2 years ago

BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
Well then, you should know you shouldnt open your mouth before you know all the facts. I paid $81K in US Taxes alone last year and dont even live in the states. Remember, your relatives fought & died 4 u 2 say what u say. So n reality, u or your relatives may have assisted n the process. We all have 2 pay some type of price. I pay 81K a year n taxes. How about u? If u have participated n the process as much as me, u can hold your head high as me. Dont u love utube?
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
Hold on here - You are in Afghanistan currently and you pay $81,000 in taxes? Unless the military has had some massive pay hikes since I served it's safe to assume you are a contractor rather than a solider. As such the $81 K we got back in the form of takes is a drop in the bucket compared to mountain of cash you've made in the "no-bid" federal pork distribution scheme Bush fucked us with. Lets be clear. WWII was the last time any soldier fought for my rights. The rest are bullshit.
BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
U mentioned Afghanistan not me. I'm in Saudi. Read my profile. I am sure my 81K that I donate the the US govt (which does not include SS, cause I am funded through a foreign govt & there is no sense n paying 2 SS if it does u no good) far exceeds your donation. U have 2 compare apples with apples. U cant compare the consumer with the product. Surely u have been educated more than that? If not I understand your harsh feelings towards people that make money. Someone stole your brain cells.
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
Paying a debt you owe isn't "donating"; its paying your debts. Don't let your greed over power common sense. In order for you to owe $80K in year in taxes your income would be roughly $230K depending on your particulars. Why shouldnt your obligation to the source of your income be commensurate to your earnings? If you dont like paying the cost of first class tickets fly coach. Starving the plane of fuel trying to recoup money you dont need is just going the wreck it for all us.
BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
Remember, I work & live outside the USA. Greed is not about earned income. If u wish 2 call them that u have that right. 2 earn something, that means u had to give something, so how is that greed? 2 work/live outside the USA, u r allowed the first $85K tax free. Actually I earned over $375K last year. I beat the sys several ways. Since I work for a foreign govt, I dont pay Social Security, cause I have already paid the max for my benefit. Why should I pay more if it does not benefit me?
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
Im sure if the IRS picked my bones they could come up with monies owed. I cant recall the amount at the moment but I think after your income goes over $90K a year your SS tax does not increase. The GOP imply that since the rich wont use or need the benefit they should not have to pay in but the statistical information available shows regardless of the need the wealthy pull every nickel out when they can. So I think they should pay in like the rest of us.
BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
Once u reach the peak in SS, u continue 2pay but it does not go 2 your account, but continues 2 pay 4 others. I reached mine three years ago. Luckily my paycheck does not fall under the US govt. If youre not going to get a benefit from it, why pay. That is why I dont pay SS anymore yet can collect the maximum amount when I reach retirement age. The word Rich is relative. I may be rich to some people, but not to a hollywood movie star.
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
There r many people that say the rich should pay more cause they have more. If this is the case, shouldnt the working class work more since they know how 2 work? If u really want things fair, shouldnt everyone give up something of the same value? If not, then it is not a fair system. If that is so, the people that work, should work more 4 the same money cause they r "good" at working? If u disagree, then it is not fair. If HC is a right, then someone who doesnt want it, should not have 2 pay.
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
This is a classic mistake made by the rich. If income was almways reflective of your contribution I would agree but the lower the wage I made the harder I worked for it. Now I'm in a cushy do nothing job, and it's criminal how much I'm paid comapred to when I was 19 breaking my ass for $7.00 an hour! The rich NEED society or else they could not be rich so they do indeed owe more to it.
BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
The definition the IRS uses for rich is $250,000 a year and up. I understand you point about not paying for somthing that doesn't benefit you. Of every dollars I've even paid into the gov roughly half has been wasted on a over blown DOD. I do not benefit from the Army murdering innocent Muslim civilians. If I could ensure none of my $ went to the genocide against Islam I would use that money saved for moral things.
BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
I didnt benefit from the $3.8 Trillion dept developed this year alone on AIG, GM and others either. Moral things to you may be inmoral to others. I live in a Muslim country and yes there are hard feelings about americans to some and not others. Personally I dont give a shit what they think
democratichypocrit 2 years ago

BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
Well, glad u mentioned that. I pay income, school, road, sales & property taxes, just 2 name a few & I dont even live n the states. I still pay & I do not benefit from em. However that is the hand I have chosen 2 play. So why more taxes? Like I said, I dont consider HC a right, but if the US Govt want 2 get into that no problem. It shouldnt be mandated, If they force me 2 pay, I will just get another tax break or breaks 2 counter it. I have health insurance already that I pay 4. Why pay twice?

BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
As a tax payer, u should be demanding a reduction n "over blow DOD" before any future taxes. Dont keep feeding the beast. It's hypocritical when people seem 2 know more about my income than I do. But since the US govt is now in the finance & car business, why not the medical business too?
democratichypocrit 2 years ago
You must be a bit slow, or you don't pay taxes yourself. I personally contribute over $10k a year to the gov't in 'income tax'. I go to the doctor once a year at the most and I've been to hospital once in my life to have my appendix out. I am 100% sure my 'tax' covers any medical expenses that I have accumulated. Defending the gov't for forcing people to pay 'income tax' and a premium for health care is uninformed and unintelligent. Without our tax, the gov't would be screwed, and they know it.

If it is mandated, it is wrong. The majority of the people who dont want it r afraid it will be mandated either now or n the near future. I am 1 of em.

I lived in the "US" for my whole life and have not heard anyone say they were searching for the "American dream", but I am sure there are people here who are searching for it outside of the Hollywood movies. I have met miserable people and a lot of them are on welfare wanting more out of life but not trying to work for it.

Yeah, where in europe do you get paid $1200 a day to fuck with people on utube?

Even more,
NO ONE in this country is refused health care.

Those ole mombo lips flapping in the wind, it makes me just want to ................. shit.

You go out and actually find this bullshit "23 million".
Raider120164 2 years ago
What are you talking about? The number is real, like it or not.

Bullshit.
So-called 47 million without "Health Care"
