  • id be like get your hands of my les paul

  • i dont care if your the queen of india, your not taking my gibson

  • If you can afford a Gibson, then certainly get a Gibson. You'll be a better guitar player with the confidence it brings. If you can't, then go for an Epiphone, not the same street cred, not quite the same sound, but it looks good. I know I feel the power when playing my 1977 LP Deluxe, or 1974 ES-335.

  • he can take the gold at 0:07 to buy a lot of Gibson.

  • ohhh yea

  • Bastards

  • My wallet isn't good enough for a Gibson

  • Only a Gibson is good enough ;)

  • Gibsons have nothing special, except name and price.

  • @metalgirl0 Gibsons are superior guitars in almost every way.

Even considering that, that prices are still incredibly steep.

  • The two owners of Gibson Guitar are rich thieves. Do a search. They lie and steal. They belong in prison.

  • i have that guitar

  • The guy was like WTF thats my guitar

    LOL

  • Ibanez has been around since the 50's, and became more popular in the 70's, so watch your mouth buddy

  • i've never seen a gibson ad on tv

  • i think it was durring the superbowl pre game stuff in like 07

  • same

  • Haha!!1 Yeah!!! Gibson Rocks!!!

  • yeah very goos work gibson rocks 0:17

  • george benson is a major user and eric clapton owns a very early salvador ibanez

  • I really would have one, but I don't have enough money, so the only thing I could possibly buy is the Ibanez. And yes I know there are an Epiphones, but I want Gibson, not Epiphone.

  • OMG that guy looks like john petrucci? has anyone else notice?

  • hehe i did:)

  • ibanezes are the single lamest looking guitars ever created, only surpassed by bc rich and double neck sgs

  • Look at my video...i'm french and i would like that gibson see my work... good listening... Thanks...

  • Gibson,Ibanez and Fender are true legendary companies so you all stfu saying whos better

  • you need to be royalty to afford one!!

  • gibson AND jackson =3

  • Fender is better but it's a cool ad.

  • heh nice video. Good original Les Paul guitar what was made 1962 costed like 300 000 €.

  • the new les pauls are pretty crappy, a disgrace to the mans name, the only reason people are still buying them is because they don't know any better and because of stupid guitar hero and all that marketing.

  • and because vintage les pauls (the only good ones left) are crazy expensive

  • I wish I'd have bought that Jimmy Page LP limmited back in 2007 for 25grand. Now is worth more than $100K

  • @AxelFlyingV

anyone who pays more than 1,000 for a guitar is an absolute idiot

  • How can he be an idiot? If the guitar is good, plays good, feels good, sounds good. It's worth alot more. And if you get a vintage model, it's price will only grow year after year.

  • ummmmmmm

    because dude

i can get a guitar for 900 bucks thats plays, feels and sounds just as good as a 25,000 dollar guitar, the only reason its that much is cuz its a signature guitar

if it wasnt jimmy pages guitar it'd probally only be like 2000 bucks becuz see friend spent 15,000 on a signature gibson, and i have a regular gibson and they are exactly the same, sound the same, play the same feel the same.

  • trust me i LOVE all my guitars like a frickin family member, but im not gunna go and spend over 2000 dollars on one

  • Haha, okay. But a vintage Gibson or Fender really isn't a bad investment because how ever you look at it, you will not regret it. They almost always sound good etc. and their price will go up. You dont need to spend $25.000 since $2.000 could be enough.

  • @JimmyBlade69 i think its because gibson's are hand made, thats why the company thinks its okay to overprice the guitars, but you are right, i spent 1,200 on my gibson, same guitar 30 or 40 years ago would cost just 200, that is why fender is making more money because professionals buy them, also beginners would just buy a fender or squire as a first guitar.

  • hahahahaha.... sumonto looks so funny here!

  • HELL YEAH!!! GIBSON THE BEST!!

  • Very Cool!!!

  • Gibsons and fenders are industry standards, they have earned the right long ago before kramer, Rich (BC), Schecter, Parker, Epiphone, Ibanez, Robelli, Musicman, Aria and all the others which are too many to name. Even today you can feel the quality in a Les Paul that makes you know your'e playing a grown-up guitar!

  • While all this is true ( I agree Gibson and Fender are industry standard) Other guitar manufactures build apon these principles and improve their designs apon the original forerunners) So I wouldn't discount any instrument manufacture as "crappy" or unworthy, because if they are making money, obviously their instruments must be tops otherwise no one would buy them.

  • Well I certainly would'nt call other guitar makers crappy! or unworthy, truly some of them have earned thier respect in the music world. No argument there my friend, I've played damn near everything and "Personally" I've come back to owning all Gibsons and Fenders. When I find one I will be buying an aluminum necked Kramer.

  • Ill tell u why Gibson is the best brand ever because they sound awesome!!!!!!! Thats why such players as Slash, Angus Young, Jimmy Page, Zakk Wylde and others have chosen it and thats why i choose it.

  • RIGHT ON!

  • @BoltGuitarist and all of they have the money to afford the best models (vintage, custom shops, etc etc)

  • your really wrong..i know why people say stuff like that...BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE ONE!!!

  • Gibsons are so awesome I really want a Les Paul standard and SG Standard but I don't have enough money

  • man, that commercial is awesome!

  • Awesome guitars but WAAAAY over priced, if i were to buy one i'd definatly buy a descent second hand one

  • People, DO NOT go on the site which wei341 suggested. THEY ARE FAKE. I know this because it shows you the difference between fake Gibsons & real Gibsons on their website.

  • im making tabs for it

but it's easy enough to figuer out by urself i did it:)

  • any tabs for this?

  • guys, i just got a new gibdon sg and a new gibson V for a little over 600.00 each. i did try the lp's and it to me they weren't worth the extra dough. i couldn't even touch a good used lp custom for that money. if you have never played a V go down to your local store and try one out.

  • les paul rocks!!

  • i know a person that sold their car for a gibson LP

  • ill wait till i am a millionaire to buy one

  • Thats Right!!

  • they cost so damn much. I am so angry. i had to get an epiphone because the gibsons cost 4500$

  • I wish i could afford a freaking gibson

  • buy an epiphone and put gibson humbuckers in it.

  • I love Epiphone guitars, own an LP 100 electric, El Capitan acoustic bass and an AJ 10 acoustic. They're great student grade instruments. Good quality for the dollar. New pickups help, sure, but there's more to it than that. Change out the switches: these get noisy and can break quite quickly. Look at the wiring and try upgrading its guage, shielding the cutouts where the wires are routed. Make sure it's grounded properly. My 2 cents. YMMV.

  • Well, IMHO.... They've sunk to new lows of desperation. Hey Gibson, make some AFFORDABLE decent quality guitars that SOUND good, and we shall buy 'em. I know you Gibby fans will flame me, but I've played LP's from the $799 'faded' to the $3500.00 "Hurricane Katrina wood" ones and they're lousy. They sound terrible and are more 'flash' than function.

  • Then it's because you are a Fender person, you don't like that sweet warm mellow sound of Gibson wood and pickups, niether the low action of it, you like the crunchy single coil sound, perfect for a nice rock solo, and the slim and ergonomic body and minimalistic appointments of a Fender. I'm a Gibson guy, I love the weight, the sound, the feel and the luxury of a good ol' Gibson

  • I love SG's, actually. My first 'real' guit was a '71 SG Custom. The third (middle) pickup was utterly useless but it played and looked sweet. I discovered the P90 sound and yanked the fatbuckers when it was disclosed to me that Jimmy Page played a '58 Tele on most of his legendary solos and tones. That was actually close to the perfect guitar.

  • Try the SG, they rock

  • Yeah, I do like SG's. Gibsons best solid body, IMHO. Les Pauls are too fat, warm 'n heavy and quite over the top cosmetically. Also, you get 'Les Paul elbow' from holding 'em up with your right forearm. The original SG was Gibson answer to the comfort of a Strat but Les didn't like the double cut design.

  • HOT~!!!

    Sweet Idea.. Really wicked!!

  • Freakin amazing

  • Gibson Guitars Rock
