well all i can say is around the 18th century and at the first of the 19th century, train hopping was really a big thing for criminals,thugs,and looters. i mean this is where it all started from.but now if people are trainhopping they are just doing it for the Thrill or for fun! i have trainhopped 2X in my life and what i can tell you is for anyone wanting to train hop. Never and i mean NEVER try to hop on a train while its moving, only hop on while the train is stationary!
Before calling a hobo a loser just remember the over whelming majority of folks in this country (USA) are a mere handful of paychecks from being homeless too. It doesn't take much these days.
