  • @Fuckimports11 I spank V8's all day with my V6 n they cry afterwards lol.they rely on power while I rely on skill n corners.will have a V8 sometime.

  • hey i have a 1995 3.4L v6 camaro with no catylic converter and its all stock except for the dual mufflers i have on there, i was wondering what was done to yours to make sound that amazing, ur car is def. 1 nice ass camaro. if u can check mine out that would be great and comment what u did on on mine thats would be awsome

  • @batmana2i are you deaf you can tell easily theres a cam in there just listen to the idle when hes backing out there is a noticeable lope

  • @batmana2i because a v6 will always sound like a v6 no matter what you do to it theres nothing you can do to a v6 to make it sound like a v8

  • did u have to change fuel injectors? I just put this cam in my engine but it wont start.... I'm getting fuel and spark and it cranks all day but wont turn over and im getting really frustrated!!!!! If anyone can help please let me know i appreciate it!

  • @quiksixx95 you may not have properly timed the cam when you installed it

  • @MegaGuitarboss it ended up being the valve lash was off. adjusted it n it fired right up...

  • finally got custom exhaust intalled on my 3.4.. soounds way better than this one no joke.. i havve the best sound v6 camaro

  • Looks just like mine. I have a 94 V6 camaro w/ auto, same paint color. Only mod is an K&N air filter. Paid $500 for it 2 years ago. Bought it with 114,000 miles, now 134,000 still runs good. But it will be soon gone cause I'm buying a V8 5 speed 3rd gen.

  • how does the ecm deal with the lope? does this cam kill gas mileage?

  • If you throw in an over sized aggressive cam yes you will lose gas mileage. The lobe is from the timing. This cam he did more than the cam he got new timing chain valve spring the valve spring retainers and valve locks.

  • you hvae to get this if you throw in an over sized cam. If you dont the car will run but if you get on it in the higher rpm range the valve springs will stay open too long and get something called valve lobe

  • yeah i was going to get the complete kit not just the cam it comes with all that. not sure what will add more power with the least amount of effort headers or cam i will eventually do both just not sure what one to do first never cammed an engine before

  • Lol you must not know a whole lot about cars. Any mechanic will tell you if you want the most hp and tq w/o S/C, T/C,or P/C then replace your cam shaft and crank shaft with a more aggressive one. Headers wont do but a fraction of what a cam will do. Headers on a 3.4L will only give like 8 hp and tq @ most. A cam depending on how aggressive you go and if its tuned right can be 50-100.

  • no im not very familier with engines and tuning but i plan on learning kinda learning things one mod at a time. i have the 2.8 on my s10 and its running really stron 180k miles but drives like day 1 im planing on tuning it and adding cam,headers, switch to the 4.3(or 3.4 aparently its the same) feul injectors and then when i can get ahold of a 3.4 drop one in one day in a couple years aparently all theese mods switch over to the 3.4 b/c they take the same acessories

  • yeah i dont want to get the MOST horsepower out of the engine i want the best power while keeping the engine streetable and still getting good(for this kind of engine anyways) gas mileage so if 10 hp means loosing 5 mpg not worth it but if 80 hp means loosing 5mpg then hell yeah. just not sure what to expect from the cam i really not sure how different models compare to eachother. how much mpg did you loose from this cam? its the 260H right?

  • Not my car but yeah 260h comp cam most likely. i have the same engine only mine is a firebird. I havent recammed my car yet cause of financail situations but it depends on how aggressive you go. From his setup i would say 27hwy to 25hwy 20 city 17city

  • 4.3 and the 3.4 are very different engine the 4.3 is a vortexs. Something with a v in it close to that. The 3.4 is a ohv motor. The 4.3 will have more hp and tq but you might as well go with thw 350s small block cause they are not that good on gas. I highly dont it would fix in your engine compartment and if it could. It would barely fit and would be a pain in the ass to mess with things

  • I could give you a website for aftermarket stuff for the 3.4L. No they souldn't take the samethings like the cam shaft and driveshaft should be diff. Things like pulleys might be the same but fuel injectors fuel pressure regulator should all be diff.

  • All an engine takes is proper mantainace. Your s10 probably has lost some hp and tq and fuel ecomony over the years cause of natuaral wear and tear but it is probably in pretty damn good same for how many miles are on it.

  • I'm in the process of rebuilding a 3.4 i found the 260 cam and all but I wanna know how it sounds a little more. Could you maybe upload a video of under the hood idling and then and then exhaust tip?

  • look at the 3.4 firebird cammed has the same cam

  • If you're gonna cam it you should probly get some springs and rockers too, just to be safe wouldn't' hurt the power either. I had a 94 3.4 and I only did a head swap and sawed the muffler off, I put it back on before I sold it though. It really woke up the top end because it just suffocated above 4500rpms

  • Nice bro, I have a 94 v6 and about to put some new plugs and wires (BOSCH or anything better) on it. Its gunna be a pain in the ass but my car is stock and I'm going to make it come to life before I go to basic (I'm not stopping at Plugs, maybe a SC?)

  • good luck finding one for the 3.4 trust me ive looked. ur best bet is a cam, intake, and exhaust. thats about all you can do with a 3.4 v6. 3.8s have a little more options but the only way ur gonna find a supercharger or turbo is by getting a v8. sad to say

  • o well, I can always do an engine swap. My friend wants to sell me a 4.3 vortec but I'm thinking of a ls1. I heard vortec were pretty bad ass

  • Thanks, I DD this car so i needed it back on the road ASAP so i paid for the work. Your looking @ $600-$800 if u pay a shop to do it, +parts obviously. My cam package cost about $350. Your gona need an adj. FPR also (holley $100) to give it some more fuel for this cam
