It's been a really bad year and hard to explain and words two words though severe depression and anxiety. But I heard this today and instant tears, no joke. <3 God bless to all.
I needed this. This really lifted up my spirit. My son Albie was 36 yrs old and he was murdered on Sept 30,2011. I miss him so, so much. Love you for ever my son. Until we meet again
HOW COMES AND ALL THE XTIAN SONGS HAVE NICE WORDINGS? I AM A BORN AGAIN XTIAN, I AM ALMOST 35 AND I AM GREEK. I LIKE SPEAKING IN TONGUES, I LOVE HEARING SPEECH IN TONGUES BUT GOD ONLY KNOWS WHEN THOSE SWEET WORDS WILL COME FROM MY OWN MOUTH. NO MAN CAN MAKE ME ACHIEVE IT. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.
He wrote this song for a friend who was having a baby boy with a two percent chance of living. That boy is ten years old now. This gives me hope. Thorough god, anything is possible! Praise him!
This song hit me so hard at a time when I was hurting so bad after I lost my 23 year old son 10 months ago today. It lifted me up and gave me hope. Thanks Josh!! You are wonderful. Keep up the good work.
I really needed to hear this song. I'm hurting in my marriage and this song helped put my hope back in God, that there's joy coming behind all this pain. Please pray for my husbands salvation and my endurance!! (Count it all joy right?)
This is the kind of song we need to remember when we go through tough times. Thanks Josh Wilson for reminding us: "hold on, you've got to wait for the light...press on and fight the good fight....the pain you have been feeling is the dawn before the morning....hold on... there's good for those who love God...you will see the bigger picture..." I love these words. Let us remind ourselves of how good God truly is and how it will all be worth "the fight". There is victory in God!
I love this song so much. It reminds me that no matter how bad my day was or how depressed I may feel, there is still hope, and I will always have hope in Christ. I only wish everyone could understand that there is always hope in Christ, no matter what.
we had our piano player sing this song in church last week and i never really listened to the words to it. but in real life it an inspiring song if you are in a bad place in you life like me. and every time i listen to it it gives me courage to push through the pain and finnish the day with out any regrest.
its funny how all non christian songs on youtube always have fights about who is the best singer (like some people say that justin bieber is gay and for other people he is their life) but christian music always calms me down and helps me get through life better
This song really helped a friend of mine get out of a depression she was in for a long time. She still has many trials, but they're all microscopic compared to the joy that IS COMING - she knows that now. I can't wait to tell God thanks (and Josh Wilson for making the song!).
A few weeks ago... I was driving to see a family member. While driving I was questing myself of all the test, pain and other things I was going on in my life at that particular moment. I had my radio set to the local Christian station when this song came on... it put me at rest of everything I have to go through now and the future... God is awesome
I had some big issues with my friends, and all I used to pray about was them. It never occurred to me that I was not doing what God wanted me to do. Until after I heard this song. Before I listened to it I flipped in my bible and one of the verses said " Anyone that becomes a friend of the world, becomes an enemy of God." After I listened to this song I understood. I need to put my struggles behind me and worship God. I truly love God, and I need to prove it.
you see that is wrong with people always expecting God to fix everything wrong in their life. God never promised that, but he did promise to never leave us and to be there to cease us through the pain. God also uses brokenness to make a better "you" and he uses everything, EVERYTHING for good. (Romans 8:28) without brokenness you cant grow, and that's what life is all about, growing into the beautiful person God created us to be,so this song is very true, God has a beautiful plan for each of us
No, song. You're wrong. you're so, so, so wrong. Good things ARE coming. when are you gonna get off of your ass do do something about what's wrong? I always thought god would step in and make me happy. I'm an atheist and loving life. Living to love, and loving to live. C'mon guys. cheer up. no money? Watch a sunset, who needs james cameron? no friends? go make some, no one's holding you back but yourself. Oh, and when you DO meet god tell him I said: "Thanks alot!"
@paranoidude do you expect god to suddenly shower you with everything you ever wanted? and do you realize that what people often perceive as "good" might not actually be good for us at all?anyway, have you ever counted the ways God HAS blessed you?even if you're a christian God never said that he would make your life peachy-keen, in fact, you can expect more trials in life. but life really isn't a snapshot and it will probably take a while for you to really see the bigger picture?think about it.
@bluefishvarsity Look around you man. You're religion is a tool. It takes people by the heart and tells them what is right and wrong with the fear of an eternity of suffering. and THEN it makes people believe that they are useless without an invisible entity guiding them. I'm an atheist. Go ahead. Mock me. Hurt me. Tell me about the hell I don't believe in. but one thing you can never do, is take away my self-confidence. And from the looks of it, your religion has already tried.
@paranoidude I learned is not actually about all that it seems its. Its not about praying constantly and its not about doing certain things and if you dont you are sent to hell.
It is about treating your fellow neighbor how you would like to be treated, and to try to be like jesus. I mean the bible does have its falses but you have to give it a break since the people who wrote it didn't grow up in our time. And being a christen, I am not going to tease you but just try to do what jesus would do
@paranoidude Also a lot of people have forgotten what being a christen is all about in my opinion. I have seen the people who attend church everyday but it doesnt mean they are actually trying to follow the path. Also some of the things in the bible and things that can be taught at church are bonkers but if you have the intellegence and heart to look at the right parts then you got it right. Such as, I do not believe that a person who sleeps in a bed where a women had her period should be killed
@MusicIsGirl Wait, wait, wait... Are you, a christian, trying to tell me to read the bible SELECTIVELY? I'm sorry but... What you follow is NOT christianity. If you don't 100% follow the bible, like JESUS DID, then you arn't a christian. You're some branch of christianity, but by no means are you doing 'what jesus would do.'
Also, how DARE you refer to my people as 'lost!' My beliefs don't tell people to hate. My beliefs have never spilled blood in the name of a god. And we're the lost ones?
@paranoidude I never said you were lost Im saying that a child could read your comment and feel lost due to it the bible is 66 books with over 40 authors Half of the bible is written before Jesus was even born Im not saying read it selectively Im saying that christanity is about trying to follow the words of christ, which includes to treat people how you would like to be treated. And, I am fine with your beliefs. athiest have spilled blood over many stupid things, don't you know you own beliefs?
@MusicIsGirl Give me one war that Atheism has ever started. Name. One. War. Also, are you aware that the bible contains a code of how, and how much money to pay when selling people into slavery? I find your statement about me knowing my beliefs quite ironic. Atheism isn't about set beliefs. It's about freedom and love. Freedom that no being can take away. Love that no book can tell you is immoral.
@paranoidude Its not about the religion is what your not getting. Christianity has not ever started a war but its people who start it. Its Individuals. South Korea has the most atheist out of any place in the world, but I wouldn't consider them the safest place to live, and yes they have had plenty of wars. Also, you were the one who said beliefs I just didnt have the room to write "Beliefs" And there is no universally accepted term of, "Athiest" also, technically love and freedom are beliefs
@paranoidude Also, I have seen atheist groups take away a childrens basket ball hoops and then sue a church. So much for love and freedom. I respect your beliefs but be smart about what you are saying. Right now you are acting kind of immature. No offense. There are all crazy religions out there, but we have to respect them all including you and me. You should not be on here doubting mine as Im saying that I respect yours but please stop with these comments. I'm not trashing your atheist sites
@MusicIsGirl Basketball hoops and money. And yet... you say we care not for freedom and love. We must all accept crazy religions. But acceptance requires you and me to realize how crazy our own is. I've taken that first step. We're born atheist. I'm gonna die atheist. Peace.
@paranoidude Um, I was reading your discussion with @MusicIsGirl and are you referring to the Crusades when you refer to the spillage of blood? Because if you are, then I request that you do not judge Christians by that. Humans are fallible and are infinitely wonderful at coming up with reasons to justify their actions. Religion is one of those reasons. It's annoying.
@paranoidude And (sorry I'm so talkative) Jesus was often condemned by the Jewish religious leaders for not obeying the laws of Moses. Laws that were neccessary in the time of Moses and the old testement days became unecessary after Jesus's victory over death. Some (like the period thing) are even further uncessary with the invention of pads (thank God). As Christians, we have to figure out what to focus on. Just clarifying. I'm not trying to convert you or whatever... =)
@UrufuAmetsuchi Alright, Alright. But the crusades aren't the only thing I'm refferencing. There are actually active wars going on this moment because of religion. Just some food for thought. I'm tired.
@paranoidude God is about doing the right thing. Not about begging and doing nothing its about pushing on and trying hard. Also one thing dont get about athiest is that you dont goto an athiest country such as north korea. And, christen is about treating others how you would like to be treated, and try to do what Jesus would do. Such as
not commenting like this when it can offend a person. A child could read it and then be lost. You have to think ahead. I agree with you that we do need to act.
This is song is just uhhmazing <3 it was played at the judgement house in West Virginia (: It was soo uhhmazing that place will change yhuu :D all my frends have changed since they last went (: God is just uhhmazing,he is my savior im glad my life is in his hands i wouldnt want it any other way ♥
I was very encouraged by this, and it reminded me that God is faithful and can't deny Himself. It's easy to forget how close God is, and how He speaks to us and sustains us in so many ways. Thank You Lord for going through so much for us, so that you could know what all of us go through, and give us victory by faith in You!
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." (Romans 8:18)
@MidnightsDarkAngel not anymore? If you just want to get through the day, this might help, but what about tomorrow and the following days? A deep relationship with God changes everything. He gives you a new beginning and an everlasting hope that after our suffering here on earth, we will be with Him in paradise, no more sadness, no more just-barely-getting-through-the-day dilemma, just forever joy and gladness. There is no other way but Jesus.
@superprettyko i know God is the correct path and that he loves us, he created us, ect ect. but a relationship with God is not something im looking for. ur probably wondering "why wouldn't u want a relationship with God" but i have reasons and when the time comes i will persue God. but for now im focusing on immediate issues that God was gracious enough to put on my shoulders.
i've been going through a lot of constant physical pain lately due to a condition i have. i believe God brought me to this song to encourage me and remind me that what im going through is only a temporary storm in my life. and the light is not far away. thank you Lord for everything. thank you for taking my pain, and the rest of the worlds pain to the cross. because of that, we can have eternal life with you .
I love this song. So much is going on right now and I listen to this and it just reminds me, the best has yet to come. My best friend won't eat, my close friend is harming herself, my uncle has 2 weeks to live. My parents marrige is on the rocks, my brother has Autism. I know so many people have it so much worse, it's just hard for me to stay sane. This song reminds me life is beautiful. Thank you Lord, and God Bless You All.
@hugsnkissesxoxo94 I'm very sorry to hear about all of the serious problems that so many people you love are having, it sounds overwhelming. I pray that the Lord will bring you his love and peace in all of the difficulty and pain, and that you will be surrounded in his compassionate mercy, lovingkindness, grace, consolation, and encouragement. Just remember that he is taking you by the hand and leading you through the mystery of it all. Just know how very much you are loved!
This is an amazing song! I listen to it so often just to get through the day, I deal with a chronic pain condition and there are times I don't only wonder "where is he now?" but "was he ever there at all?" and though my pain may never go away while here on earth, what is this lifetime compared to eternity? It's just the dark before the morning.
@emnidi I can't imagine what it must be like to be in constant pain like that, but I just want to encourage you with this thought: he was there, for you, in the unimaginable pain and horror of the cross, and he is still with you now and always; he loved you so much that he went all the way to the cross to rescue you and be with you, and there's no way after all that, that he is going to leave you now. Rest assuredly in his ever-present, ever-faithful love and compassion for you!
Whenever I face hardship, I listen to this song and think my pain will go away I will be ok. I remind myselft that the pain will go away and the joy will come. Thank you very much for making this inspiring song.
I've had SO many times lately that's I've wondered "where is he now?" this song is a great reminder! he's still there!!! I love this so much! thanks for making a video!
Brother Earl, this song has definite meaning to me. I would like to share this with my congregation during praise and worship, but we don't have internet so I can't show it this way. I would love to be able to burn it to a DVD. Is that possible on here? Please let me know as soon as possible. God has healed me of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which has prohibited me being able to sing and play my guitar on our Praise and Worship team. Through faith and prayer I was healed this am. I want to play this
Love your video Brother Earl. Thank you for your beautiful videos that you make in honor of our Lord Jesus Christ. May God richly bless you and all you do.
This is my favorite song. I have been going through tough times latley and this gives me hope that it will get better and I can't wait because I still need to get through the pain. I listen to it when I am down (which has been a lot latley) but I'm glad God can turn pain into something good.
It's been a really bad year and hard to explain and words two words though severe depression and anxiety. But I heard this today and instant tears, no joke. <3 God bless to all.

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." (Romans 8:18)

im not really in a relationship with god anymore, but this song really helps me get through the day = )
MidnightsDarkAngel 1 year ago

The pain will go away.

This is my favorite song. I have been going through tough times latley and this gives me hope that it will get better and I can't wait because I still need to get through the pain. I listen to it when I am down (which has been a lot latley) but I'm glad God can turn pain into something good.
