  • you sound so sarcastic

  • Thermalsteak

  • does an evga gtx580 fit in there?

  • @zachyboy13528 Umm..no

  • Comment removed

  • do you think an hd 6990 could fit in that for very good portability

  • @skimowhite586 yes but why would you do that to this small case

  • @SOxxLegit you know what ive moved onto smaller things like laptops so that way i still dont have to take that big shit with me and with screen attached to it

  • thermal steak was funny as hell anyone own this case?

  • Anywhere to purchase this in South Australia?

  • can you grow marijuana in it like a stealth grow?

  • @loopba Only if you're stupid enough to.

  • @loopba its ventilated so unless you have air filters you wouldnt be able to hide the smell

  • I personally prefer the steel and plastic over the aluminum. Aluminum is very noisy. Take note of the stock cooling silence.

  • can that microwave play crisis?

  • So if you are installing a larger video card in this case, you HAVE to remove the internal drive bay and install your harddrive in the floppy drive spot, also meaning you can only have 1 harddrive in this case if you're looking to build a gaming machine and are using larger cards?

  • bloopers LOL

  • microwave :P

  • i wll buy that case tomorrow :P

  • Look at 3:02 at the connectors for the front USB etc.

    Ghosts :O !!!!

  • straight out of the William Shatner school of acting - good review though

  • The 8800's were about 9 inches right? So a 470 wouldn't fit in this case(9 1/2 inches)?

  • @ZephMan13 Yeh i wanna know that to as i wanna put a HD5870 in one but i dont think it will fit =(

  • @ExtremeOz I just watched a video where a guy has SLI 295's in it, so I guess it can, ahaha.

  • "..if you're a hardcore gamer, & tanning.."

LOL love the outtakes, & excellent review. I'm more curious about these "small form factor cases" since it's possible to achieve optimal quiet/cooling status along with a fitted video card.

  • what psu does it use? standard atx or micro atx psu? please reply!!!

  • @mrRocstar96

Listen carefully at 2:15, he says "A standard ATX power supply"

  • how many mm from the psu to the mobo/cpu so i can measure the cooler i will buy

  • @mrRocstar96 He tells you in the video, standard ATX power supply.

  • uh... but if I remove the hard drive cage for SLI Cards, what will hold the hard drive? or do I have to do some customizing to mount the hardrive?

  • You can mount it where you would normally put a floppy drive.

  • I think I'm going to use this for my new custom build

  • Does anyone know if other than the lack of handle and minus 1 window and the different placements of power buttons, usb audio etc is the lite version have less space than the Thermaltake LANBOX w/handle? I am torn between the two.want smaller case but the measurements on the outside nearly identical neone tried both cases? $30 diffrence too not that bad but need to know what will provide better space airflow.HELP!!!!

  • eh he he !!!

  • will my Nivida GTX 260 black editon fit in that chassi?

  • will a Powercolor radeon Hd 4890 fit in there ??

  • will 2 1TB WD Hdd's and one Ati hd4670 fit in there?

  • will a HD 5770 fit in there?

  • I was wondering that too. well not the 5770 but 5750 close to the same.

  • yes

  • this case is fantastic.not only does it look great but it is very easy to use.i just built my first ever pc using this case and it was an absolute joy.

  • Wil 2x GTX 295 Fit???

  • nope. and even if they did, they'd overheat very quickly

  • k thx

  • how much space does it have have for graphics cards. will it fit the new 5800's or even the gtx 260's and so on. plz answer me back.

  • I have a 9800GTX+ installed in this and it fits. With the harddrive cage removed, every video card will fit in, if you ask me.

  • it might, depending where the PCIe x16 slot on your mobo is. I've looked though a lot of pics of this case and from what I can see, if the graphics slot on your mobo is the second from the top (second-closest to CPU) a long videocard should fit, but keep in mind that thermal management will be a nightmare

  • Ok Thx

  • so it fits the 8800's... but will it do the gtx285? I hope so, looks good.

  • I''m damn sure overall this case is a "kick-ass product". Does it have "many alluminum fins"?

Actually I like this technical approach, rather than the slobbery gaming style of other reviewers.

  • Kick-ass reviws, my man!!!!

  • mmmmm wonder how u could put water cooling in this. will save room from heatsinks. and cool more... maby 2 x 120mm on side?

  • You have done a kick ass job with the reviews. I have a lanbox lite case. Got it because of a review you did. I wanna ask you this. What would be the best CPU air cooler to get that would fit in the case. My CPU runs on the hot side and my air flow is not good at all. It has everything to do with the PSU cable. I'm going to fix that soon. I just wanna know what kind of CPU air cool would fit and work the best. Something for AM2+ dual core and intel dual core. Thanks!

  • I would measure the space you have and then go to a computer store and ask them what they have.

Overall I'd suggest the Scythe Ninja Mini with the 92MM fan on it, not sure if it first in this case though.

  • the outtakes were hilarious!

  • Looks like a microwave

  • A stylish microwave.

  • haha it will get so hot whit my spects that it will be a mirowave :P

  • sexiest microwave ive ever seen

  • Great review, thanks ! One question tough: Does the HD4870 fit WITHOUT having to remove the hddcage ? Thanks

  • what do you think?

  • Best case iv ever purchased... or have ever used or touched... i love the size and the structure.. one thing i dont like is the stupid cdrom cage so i just took it out, its an amazing case its 80 bucks so BUY IT!! not kidding this is a beast if you dont plan on putting more then 2 hard drives.

  • nvmm cool... u can put hard drive on the side.. didnt see that ... 3 hard drives... i will prolly take that into perspective.

  • Does this have air filter in the front? im thinking of getting this one but i like the lanbox lite with the handle that came out before this. What do u think?

  • no it does not have any air filters, I own it.

  • I have really enjoyed this case, i got it on sale for 77$ I installed an 80 MM fan above the vid card, i had to remove 1 corner of teh mounts on teh fan, for where the vid card is, but cooling is fine,

  • This thing has no handle, i just saw it at frys electronics and its quite heavy and dangerous carrying it with no handle.

  • So you can fit a 8800gt, but you have to take out the HD cage. WTF is that about?

  • Ok well U mount the HD in the 3.5 inch bay vertically, if u use the raptor with the window u can see the hard drive operating

  • I'm wondering if all available cpu coolers would fit in this?!?!

  • Awesome! I think Im gonna buy this one!

  • i have a micro atx computer and thinkig of getting this case or one very similar will a micro psu fit in this case? thanks

  • It looks like a microwave. ^^

  • It is! but look at the ventilation on that thing.

  • Whats the biggest GPU this case can carry.

  • i've got this case. It's pretty nice, but even with a modulair PSU it has so little space...

  • what GPU do u have for this case? thinking of getting a sapphire radeon 1Gig 4850 but it might not fit.

  • The only downside about this case i think, is that there are not many options for cooling. i mean air cooling

  • if I bought both the original LB and the LB-Lite, would I be able to swap the top panels so that this has a handle as well? or would I have to mod the top panel myself? (something that I'd rather not have to do) because that is the only thing I don't like about this case

  • does he do blow before his reviews?

  • hahaha Nah he just loves his job....how could he not!

  • he talks pretty fast at the end

  • yeah it wil fit but you have to remove the hadd tray i though

  • I might buy this case. I'm planning to get a Geforce GTX 260 in it, would it fit? I probably would have to remove the drive bay, but after that would I have space for 2x 3.5in hard drives?

  • if you remove the hard drive cage, you have room for one 3.5" and two 5.25" drives. you could have 2 3.5" drives, but you'd need an adapter for one of the 5.25" drives. however..I'm not 100% sure that a 5.25"-3.5" adapter works in a case like this

  • This is not very good lan party computer because of the fact that it only fits micro atx and mini atx, nowadays almost every computer has standart atx motherboard...

  • yeah but you don't wanna be lugging around a case with standard atx to a LAN party, do you? the whole point of micro atx and SFF cases was for easy transportability, especially to LAN events

  • "I do not have any fingernails"

    HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I've seen someone fit 3 sli cards and someone fit 3 crossfire cards in this case with a special mATX. I couldn't believe it but he was using some sort of modified motherboard and super slim graphics cards. I'm buying one of these soon.

  • jew

    jk

  • You have about as much intelligence as a piece of cardboard proven by that comment..

  • btw i love it when he goes crazy at the end of the video. ATENDING ATENDING AGHAGHA!

  • actually steel is better that aluminium. aluminium heats up a lot faster than steel, so steel will keep your computer cooler

  • Do you have any evidence of that? The difference should be negligible since you're relying far more on airflow. And if there were a difference, aluminum should be better since it'd be transferring internal heat to the external environment that much faster.

I'll add to the review that this is also an option for HTPCs if you want an atx power supply and it runs nearly silent.

I rebuilt a HP Slimline in one and added a Palit 4850. Works great and I'm no longer restricted by power or space.

  • Grr....where'd that comment go that I replied to?

  • how much watt is your PSU?? I wanna know your slimline specs please msg me

  • It's a BFG 550 watt supply, standard ATX size.

It started as a slimline 3400f, everything transferred into this case except the HPDrive and the multi-reader.

  • hey man can you take a few pics of your rig or maybe a small video? im thinking of getting that exact same setup with the lanbox/4850 combo and e8400 with stock cooling(i dont plan on overclocking)

  • aight, thanks for the heads up!

  • sweet i'm getting this case. i'm also thinking of getting the corsair 450w psu.. is it going to be really bad to have all those cables around? i'm only be using my 8600 and the computer altogether until the new nahalem and x58 mobos come out, then i'll be saving up to get that..

  • STEEL!

  • just ordered this chassi with 9600 gt graphics card, hope it fits :D

  • Did it fit?

  • had to unorder cuz of economical stuff :P

  • lol, It could fit a 4870 X2 if you really wanted it too,... Was thinking about stuffing one in myself.

  • cool man!

  • can i use a 9600 or 8800gt dual slot cooler without removing the internal bay?

  • no matx cant use sli yet but I bet some company is trying to make a matx sli board though :)

  • lol well on the pic he showed it has a sli card in a micro atx board? WTF :)

  • there was one mATX SLi MoBo that was made a couple of years ago

  • it supports matx boards?

cuz the nzxt rogue can handle matx mboards

  • that case looks like a microwave oven. xD

  • wait what micro atx board can run sli?? or what sli board can fit in this?? plz help

  • evga 4series.

  • there was a socket 939 matx board that runs sli...

DFI is making a p45 and 790GX boards that can run crossfire, they will be released in at the end of September this year.

  • They should be making gaming Micro ATX motherboards man that would be cool!

  • hahaha look at the end of video damn that kill me lol

  • what kind of monitor is in the background?

  • only good about nzxt rogue that is just lil bigger and good air flow

  • nzxt rogue is better

  • what hard drive was he talking about

    ?

  • Wish the headphone/mic jacks and USB ports were on the front instead of the side. Good review!

  • Got this case too with an 8800GTS and it rocks, keeps the temps cool etc.

  • so if you have the 8800gts in, where do you keep the harddrive? he said you had to move it right?

  • no you dont have to, the 8800GTS fits exactly, the GTX Wont, then you have to remove your harddrivecage.

  • yay for rubber feet!

  • wow im impressed

if i could fit 3 8800 ultra id buy it.

  • didnt u listen? it does support 8800 series cards, just need 2 remove the internal harddrive cage.

  • i think he wants the cage in there

  • HE WANTS 3! What micro-atx supports triple SLI? Lolz

  • Supports SLi 8800's? Wheres a Micro ATX board that supports SLi? Show me one and I'll buy it instantly.

  • There was a Socket 939 EVGA board that did SLI.

DFI just announced they're planning on making SLI/Xfire mobos.

  • EVGA 131-K8-NF44-AX 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard. Thur ya go.

  • I think it may actually be possible on this model but on the full aluminum version with the 7" drive bays it's not. You'd have to mod it instead. In the end I went with the Silverstone SG01-Evolution instead and am very happy with my decision.

  • With the 5.25 bays, can you have the entire 5.25 device face showing (i.e. a fan controller) or is the flip down bay lid going to obstruct it?

  • ive heard u could remove it, but im not sure, i was trying to figure this fact too, wondering if anyone could help us

  • that did it for me - ordered.

  • its good man, just buy better fans because the cooling is horrible

  • sg-01 silverstone much better. this looks like a microwave. but ugly

  • that's a beautiful case

  • Could you fit the thermaltake 7inch LCD touchscreen monitor?

  • yes

  • I thought it was a microwave >_>

  • very nice case !!

  • look @ video 801, it is basicly the same!

  • Are you kryton from the sci-fi comedy show?

  • He mention Raptor X :O

  • Kickass!

  • ANTEC P190FTW !

  • Everythings a kick ass product

  • that's why company sponsor him

  • no there are actually great and 100% kickass products and good, whatever u gotta do to keep ur sponsors

  • It's virtually silent.

  • *applauds*

  • Unfortunately, probably not with a powerful CPU (dual-core) in it. But as a HTPC it could be great (using a h264-decoding capable graphics-card).

  • Bahhaha!

  • antec 901 is better

  • lol love the bloopers, nice review.

  • Modular like my 4.6L Thunderbird engine lol

  • Cool video review

  • Antec Nine hundred is much better

  • This case looks special compared to the other cases like that. Oh do I wish to install two PCs in those two cases like that.

  • Ireally want one but there like 150$ and I could get a TT Armor for that price :(

  • so your job is about reviewing computer cases + watercooling + power supply ?

    nothing else ?

you should at least give decent review with comparatif test between different brand / model because reviewing a model alone without comparaison is pretty mush useless to my point of view

  • Erm, he reviews also HDDs, GPUs, and more. You don't check user's video, don't you?

  • yeah true, i should have :-)

but still, this guys is giving out pointless review compare to text / html ones

  • He also does text reviews. These kinds of reviews is also for people that wants to view with sound, instead of text.

  • hmm

  • it's a nice idea for the person who goes to a lot of lan parties but i still don't mind hauling my mid-tower around though :b

  • how can this guy review all products with the same voice tone ???

  • I was wondering when he was going to review this!
