Are you kidding me?!?! Dell has one of the BEST customer service programs of any company. I've been a loyal Dell customer for years and they have fixed any problem I've had quickly and completely...
ya they only do that for customers like you and me who have ordered from them for a while, and to customers that buy expensive stuff....when i first started out they didn't care at all it took them a long time to repair my computor.
I dont get the point why dell give you a cd of the drivers when your buying a computer without a cd/dvd drive. there no point because when you need the drivers you need to go on your laptop or pc (im assuming because no one uses a netbook as there first laptop) then take the drivers out the cd and put it on a usb that has at least around 200MB of space avalible.
I just won one on ebay for 50 bucks....Ha ha ha thing is coming from Russian Federation.
Im looking forward to trying out all the upgrades available- Looks like a handy media device for my workshop/man cave.

the cd's are to have in case.
the cd's are re-installation, incase anything happens to ubuntu/windows xp.
(hopefully it doesn't, but just in case of problem)

It does have a webcam, which is actually pretty good. It was an upgrade option. The Dell Mini 9 comes with Ubuntu or WinXP. Mine is WinXP.
