The name of the ship is Grand Voyager, this bad situation happened between Tunis and Barcelona in 2005. Big waves damaged the bridge, electrical equipment and swiched off engines. I was part of rescue squad when the ship arrived in harbour of Cagliari after more than 24 hours of trouble.

Poor ship, sits too high in water so everyone can have a porthole in their room, rocks like a cork. Not a bad storm, bad ship. Ive been in real ships in reals storms, when ship hits 45 degrees it stays like that for a minute, not like this toy ship rocking and rolling. N. Atlantic is worst, some ships have special marking on side for max load in N. Atlantic. only.
