Who wouldn't agree this is better than NASCAR? When I lived in Europe as a kid, I would cut school just sit and watch Team Oreca Vipers and D2 CLK-GTRs win back in the '90s. Now, living in the US I don't watch Motorsport for 6 years!

Anything remotely worth watching in USA is: ALMS and maybe Rolex Sports Car Series that's that!

The cars are great but they rarely pass each other, how is this entertaining, it's like like rally racing where you can really pass the other cars or smash into em a bit, here they all follow the exact same line and do whatever they can to not smash up a $500K - $1M dollar car..

I wish the FAI would get its act together, and introduce a complete and unalterable production car section of motorsport applying to Rally, Touring car, Sportscar, and GT.

GT3 is sweet, but the cars are carefully equalised in performance.

Once the series gets settled, just let production vehicles battle it out forever,and people would give a shit.

Its counterpart should be an open class across all forms of motorsport with precisely no restrictions whatsoever.

@Damon6666 Hopefully if ALMS is smart they'll add GT3 cars to GTC, Audi wanted to run them in the ALMS this season but couldn't find a partner with a suitable budget and focus (read: be Audi 24/7) But I hope they have learned their lesson because of they don't make the move, Grand Am (NASCAR) will and if neither do then rumor has it SRO will start a US Championship.

Find it very strange, the BMW-engined Morgan sounds like the a Chevy or a Ford. Is that the case?

@jonndol I see that this is 8 months old but the original prototype car to the current Aero8 has a billet aluminum small block 'Chevy' with Rover badges on it (Donovan motor). Morgan at the time knew they were done with Rover, they just didnt know where they'd end up going. Story goes BMW saw them testing the Aero 8 chassis and parties got talking later on.

Big Blue - Aero Chassis #1 - is a 396 cu in Donovan billet aluminum Chevy small block. Depending on settings 480-600hp
