This was based on the Frost report sketch on class and so the similarity is that you have the two ronnies and 3 men standing describing themselves- their lives in history rather than their class lives. Michael Foot was from the dark Ages tho! :)

I guess just like new labour in the UK actually being a 'social democrat" might require independent thought. I advise a quick trip across to France and see how their Socialist party is doing things

They have just raised retirement age and cut public services and look what happened. The French are even "redder" than we are in the UK. The only country to really avoid the mess and weren't in the east was Canada, they didn't bank on the banks....... a very wise manoeuvre.
