first seen big country at the nec "86" one of only a few bands to lift the roof off the place, the other being arcade fire, but the best place to see bc was at the small venues, like the powerhouse, hummingbird etc inwards the storm fields of fire and stuart saying "feed the people and stay alive" i aslo thought that havin mike peters as a front man was going to be a mistake, but looking on youtube he seems to fit right in
Stuart's voice is so much nicer to listen to than Mick Jagger's. I like the Stones, but BC is one of those bands that has meant so much to me through the years. Nice to hear this one. Thanks!
This is incredible! Big Country has been among my favorites for 20 years, but I never saw or heard them live until I started poking around YouTube this week. I never knew they did so many great covers either - how can there not be a live album? Me wants!!
my choir teacher always used to sing this song in 8th grade. then he went to iraq for a year. when he came back on leave last november we hung the chorus of this song up on the wall. i think he was about to cry. everytime i hear this song i always think about him. :] its an amazing song Koz

I always thought Mick sang a little flat on this song (sorry). Stuart and Big Country makes this song sound great.
