chris rea is my favorite singer in the whole world... heard him for the first time when I was 16 in dusseldorf Germany... the song was Josephine... I am from South Carolina... My dream is to see him in concert... He is the absolute BEST. ELLEN MITCHELL, 3609 JUNEAU RD APT. 42 D COLUMBIA SC 29210.

Excellent stuff, thank you. I was at this concert too, and as paulcan38 said, no-one ever gets up to dance until the big numbers at the end like Let's Dance. Even then I saw *some* people dancing at times during the night, so the audience certainly wasn't dead!
Did you capture that bit when Chris Rea was having trouble with his guitar? Looked like he was having a go at one of the support crew at one point...

Audience was dead? heard same about Harrogate (I was there) but as much as we did not get up and dance WE STILL ENJOYED IT AND SHOWED OUR APPRECIATION AT END OF EVERY SONG! sorry, but you people saying no one danced - i rarely dance when I put a Chris Rea record on at home so why should I do it in front of 2,000 people? can tell you what though, my bloody foot was bouncing around to the rhythm!
