Sigh...Roswell happened in 1947. The base at Groom Lake (aka Area 51) was not constructed until 1955. There is no connection. Area 51 is simply a facility where the Air Force tests and develops new and/or experimental aircraft. It's highly classified, and highly secure, for obvious reasons. But that's all.
