Question: Seeing that the Israelites made regular sacrifices to Yahweh every year for the forgiveness of sin, what evidence is there that the verse you quote/show in Leviticus is referring to an unregenerate man? Would Yahweh have accepted his sacrifice as a unrepentant sinner? Where's the evidence?

I might also add that the KJV is the ONLY translation that has the words "of his own voluntary will" in this verse -- NO OTHER TRANSLATION has these words. Are we sure the KJV got it right?

What Calvinst's FAIL to notice is that every time that "election / predestined" are spoken of only by Peter & Paul they are addressing JEWS because those turms apply EXCLUSEVLY to them. These words are NEVER use when preaching to gentiles. Gentiles that believe the Gospel of Christ ARE grafted in !

@orbitingwebstar No I didn't say that but you could be right ,who really knows. What I am certain of though is that Israel and their decendants ARE God's chosen people : ie they are the predestined / elect wether we Gentiles like iot or not.

BUT Jesus came and brought in a new covernant to include ALL those that would believe in him, and by his BLOOD we are saved., including us Gentiles. What a perfect love that is. No-one should not try to undermine Gods perfect love.

@Loonypics HOLD UP Paul spoke the most about predestination to the GENTILE CHURCHES!!!! THe Elect are both JEW & GENTILE! Paul makes this clear in ROmans 4 FATHER ABRAHAM WAS A JUSTIFIED GENTILE! Abraham was righteous because of his faith not because he was circumcised or because he offered up Issac! His circumcision was a sign of his righteousness that he obtained by FAITH ALONE! This was to show that BOTH JEWS AND GENTILES ARE APART OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

I believe in predestination because the Bible states we are predestinated before the foundation of the world, and those words were directed towards the people, not the apostles. You have to reject what you read to believe otherwise. I don't think of myself as a Calvinist. I'm just one who believes ALL of what the Bible says, not some of it. Be the same..

This is very important to what is going on in secular society. I have noticed reporters on a murder case asking people "do you think so & so was capable of murder?" and of course, only under a lack of free will is any human being incapable of a grieavous sin. This idea of the "elect" is another way of promoting elitism and ultimately, genocide. A very sinister doctrine.
