  • nice

  • They need to make a backpack for this for easier carry

  • Good start by fuckus designs.

Now imagine driving that with a massive morning erection :D

  • I wonder how well handicap people could ride this

  • Put handlebars on it, would be ten times better.

  • rider said to the female runner, "do you need a ride on my lap?"

  • How do you break?

  • hmm posture of the folks riding it looks terrible, looks like it will hurt your knees and lower back......

  • ahh, the things man will invent just so we could avoid walking

  • why not ride a bike and get some exercise u fat ass

  • that's a really nice neighborhood. i wanna live there!

  • the logo looks a bit like the handicapped sign

  • I'm just wondering why you don't just put a small wheel in the front... just it's presence would reassure potential riders...

  • Who wants a selfbalancing unicycle?!

  • Can you do this video again without the terrible music, please?

    .

Anyone with even a slight hearing imparement would not be able to make out what is being said on account of the music.

    .

Message me when you've done it.

    .

    .

    Cheers.

    from,,

    del-boy

  • LOL @ 1:40

  • So it only goes as fast as a woman runs?

  • where do you put the spare tyre?

  • It's a complete COPY of the ENICYCLE!!!!!

And much uglier too.... No offense, the enicycle is much more "user and eye" friendly....

Great product bdw. Wish I had one

  • Nice!!! But, can you pedal when the battery dies?

  • you MUST update the video and show the whole story: how to start, stop and slow down. my suspicion is that it's pretty messy. let's hear more about that battered and bruised 20 minute learning curve.

  • @petephuduh Yeah, we're going to be bringing some more "how-to" vids shortly. In the mean time you can see our recent Left Coast Tour where a lot of people showed their learning attempts.

  • @focusdesigns how and where do i see that video? btw: thanks for the lightning quick response.

  • @petephuduh you can see days 1 through 7 on our website at focusdesigns(dot)com

  • @focusdesigns awesome!! thanks so much for sharing that.

  • @focusdesigns i know you probably already thought of everything, but why arent the footpegs below the hub? wouldn'yt that help lower your center of gravity?

  • @petephuduh The footpegs are lowered but if we went any lower we wouldn't be able to turn on corners without hitting the bottom of the peg.

  • @focusdesigns seems that you have thought of everything. where can i test ride one? i'm in san francisco. check me out hudzo.com

  • absolutely amazing! Cool!

  • what happens when you lean forward at 20 mph?

  • But, will it blend?

  • how mutch does this cost?

  • i have a question

can you stay still on it without it falling over or to stay still do you have to stop and get off

  • @TheLongLostRanger It's a lot like riding a bike. When you are at stop, it's pretty difficult - almost impossible to stay upright without leaning to either side.

  • stupid.

  • no MP3 Player?

  • This design seems superior to the Segway, i imagine it would be significantly easier to maneuver through a crowded area without the wheels sticking out to the side. It still looks goofy, but i'd say it's about an order of magnitude or two less goofy looking then the segway is.

  • Imagine a high wire act but instead of dramatic balancing with arms its a steady robotic wrrrr across the gap. lol Great vid, thanks. I'll take two please.

  • Well, if we cannot have jet packs in the year 2010, I guess this thingy is a pretty cool substitute. But please, add a turbo boost to traverse canyons and rivers, if possible.

  • how much?

  • designed in camas, wa??? crap, thats next door to me. lol. i live in eastern vancouver.

  • looks harder than walkin

  • Battery Life: Over 1000 cycles, what does this mean? How many Meters/Kms would this be?

  • @dbcomau I think it means the amount of charges, meaning 1000 carges from full battery to completely drained 1000x.

  • What a completely useless machine!!!

Needless to say... I want one!! :P

  • I use

self balancing WALK WITH YOUR TWO LEGS version 3.0

youu souldd try it sometime !

  • With this I can finally join the circus!

  • Part of me thinks this is awesome but the other (saner) part thinks this is utterly pointless and dumb

  • хэх, дааа нехило.... и как то-ж держися ещё

  • 1:18 He didn't want to wave properly because he knows he would fall ^_^

    Lol

  • you people just failed (or maybe its a nerd win) when it showed the guy in the unicycle and the girl exercising. this just promotes a lifestyle with less exercise.

This product should go to the handicap or the disabled.

  • Great ingenuity, but yet another way for people to get even less exercise. Anybody seen "Wall-E"? Yep, that's where we're headed.

  • am i the only one that thinks that it looks totally retarded to be on one of those?

  • A new way for americans to get even more fat. Thumbs up!

  • im in washington im getting one now =D

  • Hey Focusdesigns when are these coming out in the market for mass productions? I'd love to get those SBU pretty cool innovation. thanks for the vid.

  • @omario123456789 These are available to the market now on our website

  • Perfect for you fat lazy americans.

  • Humans are getting so fucking lazy

  • 4 people prefer to walk

  • lets make the logo look like the handicap sign.

  • lol...how can you use in safety the brakes?!? XDDD

  • Segways are fun, I'm sure this thing would be too. But this is something to do once (city tours are great on stuff like this), not all the time.

  • useless thing! if you people want to save nature it does not mean that everything has to be electric! use your legs for that other way you gone be fat ass :D

  • @mevilius pretty much yeah lol

Let's gets our lazy and fat culture beyond how bad it is already fust because we 'can'. Brilliant.

Horrible commercial too, tires are flat (have they never owned a bike?) and shows someone running beside it (why not run too?)

    Useless, absolutely pathetic.

    :( sad world

  • @DynamismJR You are a perfect example of the fun police. The tire is set low on purpose you pin head, Maybe if you engaged your brain for a second you might figure out why. Obviously you can't handle this because it takes coordination. We all love to hear from morons like you to get a good laugh but why don't you just go away and find someone else to bother. I enjoyed riding a unicycle as a child and it was great exercise. Great product guys.

  • The new self balancing unicycle

    for f*cking lazy people

    thank you

  • My only question is how fast is it?

  • @joeols90 You go about 10mph

  • I love how the man riding it is overweight and the girl running beside him is fit. Perfect image of which crowd their aiming this product towards.

  • That's some gay music there..

  • @focusdesigns

-But, can you do backflips with it?

-How much noise (db) douse it make? can't hear because of the music.

-Does it make a sound/warn you if the battery is running low?

    -Can you make it water-proof/tight?

    -Fender, no?

  • @watkijkjijdan We haven't tried backflips yet. There isn't really a whole lot of noise being all-electric. We have put in 3 LEDs on the top that indicate if the battery is getting low. As far as water resistance goes the SBU is splash resistant. You can ride it in the rain, not in the ocean. You can add a fender.

  • @focusdesigns Oh, I was looking forward to riding in the Ocean, oh well.

  • i want one.

  • fake

  • @TheDoorknob1 real

  • @SyluxGt You can buy the charger..;)

  • I really like the music lol, anyone know the name of tune? great design by the way!

  • So, was the Self Balancing Unicycle inspired by GizmoDuck from Ducktales?

  • @yusufer5000 yes, but don't tell our patent attorneys shhhhh

  • @focusdesigns Not long till we start seeing Gizmoduck costumes at conventions.

  • If you want a "sustainable practice" -- ride a real unicycle -- true zero carbon emissions :-)

  • sometime i c the brightest future ever....but sometime i c corrupted future ever :((???

  • aww why does it have to be $1499

i wish its like $150, so i can buy it and ride it to school lol

  • um... steadicam? dont the DIY ones cost like $19

  • If you crash on that thing, say goodbye to your crotch! *ouch*!

  • How far on a charge?

  • Yea let the bitch run imma sit and roll

  • What about the distance? How far it can travel? 10km?

  • this is the gayest thing since gay porn

  • How does it handle cliffs?

  • What operating environment does focus designs to expect to see the sbu to see the most use the street or the sidewalk? IMO like the segway it appears to be a poor choice for either. Can the sbu & rider come to a complete stop, remaining stopped with out the rider butting a foot down?

  • PATENT THAT NOW >:D

  • Cobcrneb! Think like a real city for society in the rush hours.

Should use a very high price attached to me I wash. Wait a bit on prices.

Is a very good choice. For many city and business district at all.

  • Can somebody please remind me when the unicycle became cool? You've taken the world's lamest form of transport ever and made a self balancing electric version. Sorry to be a neg but I really don't see who your market is? Retired carnival workers with bad backs?

  • I want one. It's like a Segway but usable.

  • Fuck the apple inspired, mellow hipster tone the add takes.

  • that looks like a really nice town.

  • How does it handle climbing inclines? Can you go up a hill?

    Also, can it go backwards?

  • Is it available for other countries also?

  • @Fovos Yup, you can order direct at Focus Design's website.

  • Do want.

  • Have you considered any alternate name possibilities for the SBU? Fagcycle? Queermobile?

I have more, drop me a line sometime.

  • @nineinchtaint haters gonna hate

  • BUT!where are the breaks?

  • @crazyleojr The SBU uses the motor to brake. You just lean back to slow down and stop.

  • @crazyleojr I bet it breaks because it doesn't have brakes. When will you idiots on YouTube learn how to spell or tackle grammar?

  • At 1:30 My attention completely shifts away from the unicycle.

"Excuse me. Is this SBU bothering you?"

  • @tlj362 You must really love chihuahuas!

  • another Yikebike.... great :/

  • :47 that guy threw up some gang signs, could you imagine a entire gang rollin out on a bunch of these lolol

  • @antman392 0:47, we're not a gang, we are a herd...a nerd herd.

  • I already have a self balancing transportation device. I call it "Legs".

  • And I thought you couldn't look much dorkier than Segway drivers....I was wrong.

  • λολ how much does this fuck cost?:D

  • yay! long live heart disease...

  • Nice demo. I think I'd put up a graphic since I didn't realize you were saying SBU and not SVU till I read it on the machine.

  • want!
