  • Well done! You ran across one of Britain's lumpiest and most beautiful places :O)

  • @Original50 thanks!

  • @paynowlivelater : If you want a real soul-busting 'jog', take a look at Lowestoft's 'Scores Race'... The southern-softie fell-runners use it as a nice warm-up for the real thing up north ;O)

  • @Original50 looks cool - couldn't find out how much ascent there is though...

  • @paynowlivelater : The scores are a set of stepped alley-ways, each about 1000-150 yards long, once used by the fisherfolk to gain access to the beach from their cliff-top dwellings. There are at least 8 of them, which you alternately run up and down, and they have a rise of about 30-45 degrees. The hard bit is that the 'steps' are a bit more than a step-length in depth, which forces you to either reach long or almost tip-toe up... I've seen hardened men bubble on this run.

  • @Original50 yowser - sounds tough. But I like the idea. Maybe one day, if i am in the area...

  • Awesome. That homemade nut and coconut cream bar looks delicious.

  • @blasaug thanks... I'm going to post a recipe for that coconut & nut bar later this week.
