Aion will never become popular like wow cuz it's not promoted enough (other than in Korea.)

That's also the reason why alot of newer mmos die fast imo.

Aion is a great game i just picked the worst class possible! Gladiator i should of made a spirit master...they are the most OP shit i have ever seen! they just fear you for 10seconds and nuke u down. Aion requires soooo much grinding which is ok if the mobs didnt take 20 seconds to kill each, in wow i grind a mob in like 8 seconds tops with no down time at all

As for PvE, this game is only endless grinding.

As for PvP, this game has better mechanics, tactics and techniques that must be perfectly balanced to achieve victory. The PvP is really far better than i.e. WoW's.

You actually need some skill to beat the opponent, not only gear and enchants.

@MikaAst Dont get me wrong Aion is a good game but compare the pvp from it to Age of conan for example, the pvp in Aion is mindless and no skilled tbh all abit of a blur, Aoc is where pvp tactics and skill is at

Aion is a great game if you are into PvP content, the PvP is 100x more interesting than any other game. Though if you are into PvE this game sucks balls.

I have played it as tank and also i gotta say i needed to put more effort in tanking at lvl 20+ than i needed to do on my 80 char on WoW. The game is "harder" to play, still rather easy if you have any brains ofc.:)

Tgis comment was not to make war between WoW or Aion, both are great games but:

Aion ==> PvP win

WoW==>PvE win

@Sarackosmo for your last bit, agreed 105% wows PVP seriously lakes dynamics and interesting things, and i am yet to really get into the super awsome raiding, which was at the time ulduar and now its ICC which doesnt even look haph as cool, so PVE wise its almost not a win anymore, still is, i can take another look at Aion after they had more patch time for content, thanks for reply im a huge pvper myself, almost 100% pvp but i love a good raid now and again too

I really advice you to go Aion, even if its only for a try...a 1vs1 battle can go on for 30 mins if 2 skilled players are dueling. Also before you can do a PvE raid you need to PvP in a zone wich is as big as Outlands for atleast 1-2 hours.

Also the gear has less effect in progress than in WoW. To bad i'm not a pvp fan, than i wouldn't have quit at 30 or something. : )
