  • 400k and still burned out and lasted almost 2mins with the koolaid in it? That should shut up anybody who has something to say about ford

  • Hey Taxi Taxi Taxi Taxi kaboom at 1:28.

  • that poor car!! it's had such a long and brutal life, all she needs is a quick lil engine swap. those crown vics will run forever i think it could have been saved

  • it's not a police interceptor yet it has a spotlight

look at the back cuz it sez crown victoria

  • @jason123456789210 That doesn't mean anything. mine was a local PD car, and it was an LX. I don't even think the interceptor badge came out until sometime in 2000+

  • I wouldn't own any car. I am a truck only guy... but the grand marquis and crown victoria are my first choice for any vehicle, forget about the truck. Drive the last of the true, body on frame, RWD, V8, American originated luxury/performance cars!

  • Man, that BEASTLY 4.6l modular Crown Victoria could have tripled that mileage. Those "Panther" Platforms are the best car ever.

  • it was sent away with dignity its safe to say.

  • i tried calling the phone number on the side of the taxi but nobody answered.

  • 400K miles but it sounds like 100K. i and it looked great. I"m looking for a cheap reliable car and i would've loved this car for $1000 or $1500. fuck it's go leather seats in it! Obama can go fuck himself for this. One of the few times i'm NOT proud to be an american is when the topic of cash for clunkers comes up. So embarrassing that we let this idiot in office and let him do this.

  • i will beat the living shit out of you if i'm lucky enough to meat you.

  • @Dualshock21 you have to learn how to spell first

  • hey, what part of DC you from? i live in SW near the nationals stadium :D

  • Fuck You ashol!

  • I don't believe it, its like Cash for Clunker the Semi Tractor for a Priuse as a Retired Truck Driver, and people who just graduated or just got his Class A CDL license could have bought a Semi Tractor to start on the job or gain experience to get on the job.

  • did u guys see that their shirts they have JEFFYLUBE

  • It did a better burnout then my 1999 would've :'(

  • Lol what sucks is dave's channel is gone forever jus like these innocent cars

  • Ring back when your fuckin Prius will reach 400k, fuckin ecomentalist. I hope your house will melt down under the acid rains that your car's batteries produce

  • 4.6 modular is a beast, hose bitches never die lol.

  • @p4ndiamond They're junk!

  • @FordGarbage nope

  • @p4ndiamond Yep.

  • Car might have been able to go another 100,000 to 200,000 miles since the body was in decent enough shape.

  • poor ford :(

  • I would of drove that. I used to be able to find those cars all day long for under $2,000. Now people want $3,000 or more for ones in worse shape than this one. I know someone that had one of these. They bought it used with 150,000 on it, and they drove it until it had over 500,000 miles on it. The oil pump finally went out at 536,000 and locked it up. They sent it to the junkyard after that, but at least they got their moneys worth out of it, and didn't waste a car like these clunker people!!!

  • @redneckfl1 I agree completely. I can't find any cheap Vics that don't need some kind of tranny or engine work done when I used to be able to find them all the time.

  • That thing had a mean tick to the engine, but seems like ti still had some balls and ran smooth. I have a 98 P71 that was a state police car, thing is fun as hell. This program is such a shame, so many nice cars wrecked....all there doing is making used parts harder to find cuz they crush these cars.

  • That hurt to watch, although I was glad to see it show off with a burnout before it was killed.

  • for 400km sounds pretty fucking good if you ask me!

  • we have an event in my state called day of destruction which is like a demo derby and next time some shitty program like this comes around im going to try and get a few free clunkers!

  • Bwahaha (pointing to Honda Civic,) "That thing should be a clunker, but it's not." LOL I hate civics...

  • The car may of been worth clunking but that engine still had life. 400,000+ miles with the crud inside the oil and still sounding quite well at 5500RPM+

I've got an 04 Grand MArquis Ultimate edition with 203k and the car is perfect in and out, not bad for 2 g's and sure beats any econobox any day. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention 24.6MPG Highway with the A/C on and average speed of 75MPH. .

  • The Federal government required all traded in clunkers engines to be destroyed, usually by pouring sand into the intake.

Failure to do so resulted in fines.

The guys might as well have fun and give the old Vic some fun as she goes into the big junkpile in the sky.

  • Whats the Civic doing on the clunkers lot?

  • @hurricanefloyd1 being a clunker, its a civic dude.

  • Mmm mmm. Gotta love Uni Trac. Good thing i swapped my vic's rear end with posi. =]

  • i think everyone with a youtube acc. watched dave, the bloke, and rick

  • Fuck you guys! That poor Crown Vic.

  • ONE WHEEL PEAL BABY!!

  • The only actual piece of junk that I saw here for Cash for Clunkers is the 1990 Chevy Astro.

  • @pproductions123 . Exactly , I agree wuth you.

these cars may have high miles or have a few setbacks but people may still want them. Blowing the motor doesn't help

  • @HENSIM110 Yeah, the Cash for Clunker wasn't a terrific idea. For the people that actually turn in crappy cars, like my uncle did, then yeah, It's good.

  • cash for clunkers is a gay setup and makes no damn point. They waste perfectley good cars because there stupid idiots

  • I didn't like C4C, but this car definitly had a useful life.... I'm no domestic car fan, and I'll admit, I drive a Toyota, but the crown vic is pretty cool. Isn't it a uni-frame body, with none of that sub-frame crap??

  • @projektvertx its body on frame. Built more like a pickup truck than a car. It makes them extremely durable and repairing body damage significantly cheaper hence why many of them end up being cop cars.

  • @NitroGadvRules I see, cool :) Do you know anything about the Taurus body construction?? Looks like it's slatted to replace these as cop cars.

  • It did ALOT FOR ME

  • I miss my "FORD CROWN VICTORIA" It was LITTERALY THE BEST CAR. What a TERIBLE SIGHT!

  • I hate C4C, but this car is done anyhow dude. Taxi's get abused! 400,000 mile's is about right though. You wont see too many grand prix's or intrepids with that sort of mileage. Crown vic's are the best. They get about the same amount of gas mileage as the V-6 Toyota Camry(true). Only Honda or Toyota really makes a better mainstream car, but they're all light weight front wheel drive car's with little sub frames. Crown Victoria, the last real American car.

  • @FordV8Guy what about the charger?

  • sad

  • fuck that sucks at least she went out in a good way

  • you stupid americans with your big fucking engines. this is what you all diserve. Buy a resonable car not a shitty v8. you stupid fucks stuck in past

  • @adi2mad FUCK YOU, WE WILL DIVE WHAT WE PLEASE

  • @adi2mad u suck, this maybe is only a four cylinder or 6 cylinder, u FAIL

  • this program sucks. Even though this car had 400,000 miles on it some people could have used it still.

  • How 'bout if I knock your Mom down the stairs? If I'm lucky, she'll break her neck & die.

  • that wasn't a clunker, that was a working man's car, and it should have had a proper death in a derby or something. fuck you obama.

  • damn good derby car, fuck obama

  • That is my dream car dude

  • this car needs to die at davesfarm were it deserves to die in piece

  • ummm why did you walk in front of it when he was doing a burn out? dumb. anyways i agree, this is stupid

  • damn those engines really do put out some power, not much of a ford fan but i would take a crown vic over most newer chevy cars any day

  • DAVIDSFARM :)

  • YEE

  • damn idk bro duck tape and screws ? kinda needed to go sick engine tho a nice rebuild wuda did well...is the honda a clunker? dont kill hondas they rock i got one

  • davids farm would get alota fun outa that instead of squashing a perfectly good car!

  • see yeen have ta fuck it up like dat though

  • ur right...these cars should go to davidsfarm! ( 3:34 )

  • Kinda sad if you think about it. A car with that many miles on it to meet it's end like this?

  • That's sad. The car certainly did not look like a clunker. I'm a truck guy but this is the only car I probably would own. It's the last body on frame RWD car left people. Put this in a museum underground for the future. We will need something to remind us what an American car used to be after the japs take over us.

  • that's how every one should be done. Burn out, pollute as much as possible before it blows. Fuck Obama. People don't buy new cars because they can't afford them. Obama is taking food from people's mouths to keep the auto sector going. It has nothing to do with the environment!

  • i got a 03 i want that spot light to scare the shit out of people

  • 400,00 miles people... Never seen a Honda do 400k yet...

  • @rompn4x

its a taxi service just because it has 400k does not mean its on its first engine or trans...any car can do 400k if you keep on fixing it

  • true but majority of the time because taxi's put on 50k plus miles a year and get regular maintence its probably on the original drive train.

  • @rompn4x

that could also be true but im sure taxi companys have extra engines/transmisions ready at there shop because those things get worked like hell and are usually retired police cars when the taxi companys get them...so i bet a majority of them prob have newer transmisions in them

  • @andytaurus Thats true, but I'm sure that it is the original engine she sounded tired, The P71 vic's have much heavier duty components compared to a regular civilian vic, they hold up quite well so long as you keep changing oil, and trans fluid. I had an old truck with a stright six that went 426 thousand and change before any motor work was needed and it was just a push rod.

  • They have heavier-duty suspension components and oil coolers, but the engine is exactly the same as the civilian ones.

  • @Theriomalstrom Not exactly true...larger heads to accommodate a larger combustion chamber, timing is a bit advanced, and the transmission shift points are adjusted so that it will hold lower gears longer. Also, the rear-end is sometimes geared a little higher. Other than that, mostly the same.

  • @oilman1021 You're right about the rear axle, etc, but I say again: the ENGINE is the same. It does not have bigger heads - the displacement is exactly the same. There is only a slight hp difference from the PI airbox & zip tube.

  • Hell...they ain't crushed...They'rs making sure the engines can't be reused!!!!

  • Great smoke show

  • oh my god a crown vic to? i hate it seeing all those go cars being crushed

  • 10pts for mentioning Daves farm.

  • ha i was just about to say EXACTLY the same thing...

  • At least it had a good, long life. And frankly, if it had over 400k on it it had to go sooner or later.

  • perfactly good crown victoria gone to hell. what a waist.

  • fuck cash for clunkers! that thing isn't even a goddamn clunker; it has around 23 mpg's city! are you nuts? RIP crown victoria.

    ^^Sonic Android^^

  • @sonic3243 i agree, most of those "clunkers" are perfectly decent cars that could have easily been used by a lower income family or a teen getting their first car.

  • @degaik I bought my first car when Cash For Clunkers was starting and it was so hard to find a car for $1,000 because everyone was using them in cash for clunkers.

  • cool burn out. i woulda bought it

  • i have a 2001 P71 with 300hp and i still cant get the tires to spin unless in gravel or rain.

did anyone notice the toyota and honda hubcaps

  • 400k and that thing still doin a burnout like that god damn

  • Ya!!!!! go Davidsfarm!!!!

  • not a real p71! notice the lack of both wheels spinning! all p71's have posi-trac...... but never the less good video

  • False - Trac lock was not standard on P71's. nor was traction control or ABS.

I own a P71 that has none of the above features.

  • What year is yours? I had a 98 P71 with both.

  • obama is a idiot

  • @matts57 AN idiot, lol. It's so funny seeing people who can't spell or show simple grammar call other people "idiots".

  • @crashstitches79 looks like you are a stupid odumbo asshole. idiot

  • What kind of car/truck were you driving in the video? Was it a clunker, too?

  • Yeah, you can see the clunker sticker

  • that was a chrysler town and country, they clunk it in another vid

  • 400,000 miles. Wait, American cars never last that long, thats what they keep telling me :(

  • Vics last forever. I would know, I sell used interceptors and there is never anything major wrong with them. A month or so ago I got one with 140K and I could have sworn it just rolled off the line!

  • The car was held together by duct tape and dry wall screws. Its a cab, they get maintained and repaired, engine blows, replace, tranny goes, replace, if it brakes they fix it.

  • @Beastmasterification yeah, if you change the oil they last forever.

  • Quite a few P71's were disabled in this program.

  • As a car guy, Cash for Clunkers makes me sad in most cases, but this is the type of car that should be clunked. I've worked on many Crown Vics, and once they get over 250K they squeak and rattle like crazy.

This car served well. I can tell it started life as a cop car, due to having a spotlight next to the driver's door.

They should take off the spotlight before they junk the car.

  • ya to daves we go

  • Yeas all clunkers should have gone to Dave's Farm

  • fuckin ford has toyota hubcaps

  • That poor car cried out :'(

  • i just dumped all of my used motor oil down the storm drain, i'd like to see the retards at greenpeace to TRY to stop me from doin it again!

  • Well, I will say this with 400k and on a 1998, after being a police car, then a taxi cab, and doing a burnout like that, for as long as it did, thats amazing. That car would have made a nice beater for someone. Cash for clunkers is just bad, its WASTEFUL. Taking something that is perfectly good (maybe not this car) and destroying it, thats waste... Correct me if I'm wrong. And waste is bad for the environment, seeing how much materials are needed to manufacture a car. Jees

  • Also, what can't be recycled will end up in landfills. Things such as plastics and rubber. This was just a lame ass program to help the automakers.

  • Yeah and the most ironic thing was that it was not american brands who won on this, it was foreign brands like honda-shit and toyota-crap who sold more cars :( messed up, i love those big american cars :(

  • imurc you are correct.

I couldn't have put it better. Poor Crown vic, it probably could have been restored. Fuck Cash4Clunkers. I'd rather drive my two feet than drive a Toyota Prissy-Eh.. Prius. Fuck Toyota!

I would never give up my Crown Vic for any foreign shitbox, just as ad356 mentioned. People who believe in all this eco-shit are just either in denial, nieve, or just plain ignorant!

  • Can we please get more people like you? Thank god there are still people out there like you who are NOT brainwashed sheep. I'm sick and tired of this so called "green" movement. Shame on Obama.

  • Hey thanks man. I'm tired of this green stuff too. You see it everywhere, on Tv.. billboards.. everything. Such bullshit.

    V8's and up forever!!

  • so according to you everyone needs to drive a toyotashitbox. NO THANKS. even though this car had a ton of miles on it, it still ran. could have ran a few more years. it also could have been the source of parts for another similar vehicle. this program is a bullshit waste, im glad its over hopefully it will never be done again.

  • Going out in style. I agree with the davidsfarm comment.

  • how is that good for the eviroment

  • that way taxi drivers drive

  • Lol, you watch David's Farm too?

  • of course lol

  • @promise383 i do TOO

  • WOW! 400K miles. Amazing.

  • i hate ford. but not even a ford deserves to die in this program

  • damn 400k miles! wonder how much longer it could have lasted.

  • we will never know now...
