  • Let it be known, to all that think this is one awsome performance, On the day of the reocrding, Shaun had a stomch virus, thus they decided to do this unplugged.

This one of my faves. Get in on DVD. Rocks my theatre room. You just cannot R & R without guitars.

    The gift = sobriety

  • Only 1 person does not like great music

  • Shaun has the most amazing voice.

  • I feel and relate to everything about this one! Is as if he read inside my soul and wrote this from my feelings!! Rock on Shaun, your the best!!

  • omg i love how they sound live!!!!!! i love shuan and his band seether <3

  • WHO'S THE ONE ASS TO DISLIKE THIS SONG!!

  • @htw6790 You would have to be one useless fuck to dislike this song!

  • @htw6790 the guy who makes seether more money that all haters do is make the band more popular like justin beiber he is very popular because of all the haters

  • GOD, finaly. A singer just as good live as on cd. i agree, it's so hard to find any good live artist today who actually sound good that isn't already old, like Steven Tyler and i also love Steven Tylers voice.

  • this i real music! it actually takes talent to be this good! unlike the bullshit kids listen to today this doesn't just take a computer and a microphone!

  • unlike gaga, i see ALOT of Talent in this band, no autotune or random giberish , just pure emotion and talent, with music that alot can relate to . i used to have this live concert on CD and it was just amazing

  • Love the band, and I agree, there is a lot of emotion in the songs, because they seem connected. Seether plays some of the better songs live than what other bands do. very nice music, yet it can be fist pumpin when it needs to be.

  • @BPONSTEROIDS the best live bands=Seether and Three Days Grace

  • this song gives me goose bumps >.< thats how awesome it is

  • The meaning behind this song really makes you think... in south africa (where seether originated) being white is referred to as "the gift" because black there feel that being white gives you "the gift" of success... kinda makes you put aside your own sadness and realize there's always something new to learn...

  • @cullen415 This actually isn't about South Africa. The song is about a man who kills a young girl in a car crash in Southern Mexico. Each year, on The Day of the Dead, he visits the cross at the side of the road at the place where she died, and spends the night there.

  • @SithLord908 Thank you!!!! I have never understood what the heck the music video meant! :D

  • @outofmyvulcanmind22 no problem

  • I have seen you guys many times live, and I have to say you never disappoint. I go to lots of concerts and it seems that some of the artists don't seem to "connect" to their own songs, which makes it hard for me to connect. But I feel like there is always emotion in your music & your not just up there singing some song. You guys are great artists.

  • I must agree. I never fully understood my brother in-laws appreciation for Seether until watching the live DVD. Now I'm hooked and almost addicted. They will be in town this month and I cannot wait.

  • Who's the one guy going around disliking videos...

  • Fuck you Vevo

  • cant wait til rockfest!

  • awsome live band

  • great lyrics. more amazing zoice.

  • Get the audio from this video at searchripgrab doht cohm.

  • the 1 person who dislikes this has no soul !!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • @ProjectSoul13 must be a ginger.

  • sucky vevo get more live videos so much better then not live i think go to '' One Cold Night'' live this is one of them from it, they do so good on there song and there 2 covers

  • shawn morgan's voice can make suicide bombers cry, amazing songg

  • @ThePS3GamerXX very well put

  • Wow that literally blew my mind

  • He is one of the few artists that sounds good even live.

  • i saw seether with audioslave in maine a few years back and it was fuckin EPIC! anyone else there? they played this song

  • Damn,he makes sweaty, unwashed hair look so kewl.

  • The tempo reminds me of a waltz-totally not a bad thing-beautiful.

  • know what my brother says .......... who likes a guy singing about his problems and i said WTF do you even know music? idc what anyone else says im still going to love seether the same

  • Talk about a tight live band!!!! Rarely do you ever hear vocals so spot on either!! I've always been a fan, but never seen them live,...I'm so blown away!!!

  • @4000s True that! They are one of the best live bands I've seen. They sound just as good live as they do in studio. That's rare-computers give people talent that God didn't.Just can't be faked.Rock on!

  • 1 person disliked this...hmm what's their problem?

  • @Skatex1000 either absolutly stupid or drunk and they missed!

  • love this song and hes freakin hot!!!

  • Their music is so simple, like... if you're new to any instrument, just start off with Seether and work your way up, but somehow it sounds great lol

  • love seether... have seen them in concert several times... f*cking rock!!! their lyrics speak to me... are a release for me...

  • Outstanding...

  • seether=best band ever...

  • Truly awesome song. But why does it seem like he's talking about an STD?

  • true genius!!!

  • he sound almost like kurt cobain plus they are both good singers

  • "like i matter to the one i need"... you son of a bitch just nailed my feelings

  • amazing. truly amazing

  • @likeXohXemXgee truly amazing. truly.

  • i agree with lilfallenangel94 this song makes me look back and regret some things ive done in life this song just has so much too it

  • Not bad....I would like to see them all wash their hair now and then..

  • @livefromhammond ha ha

  • lol hes just like swivel swivel whee this is fun!!

  • this makes look back on all the things in my life i dnt know its a touching song in its own way definatley one of my favs

  • if u c this comment rate 5/5 if not well then i cant stop u ;)

  • @xVyKariousx

    same with me man

  • For some reason this song always reminds me of the time period my dad and I found out he was going to die from cancer

  • @xVyKariousx I'm sorry to hear about that.

  • The fact that I liked Seether even better after seeing OCN is huge. To like a band better live in these days of over produced garbage means they are truly good musicians.

    Shaun's voice is wicked.

  • i agree there are few bands that have trully good voices

My band broke up for another reason

  • I've seen them live twice. I want to make it thrice.

  • @sylnnn I concur!!.....WHOTF sounds BETTER live than this? I've seen/heard him play in a small-small crowded room with his bass player and one guy on bongos, and he still blew the roof off. I'm not easily impressed; but this is one of a few exceptions to that rule. They earned it.

Notice how he uses "guilt" instead of "Gift" in this live version.... I suppose it was either the label's doing (As, they even made them change their name (was Saron Gas), or it's a double entendre.... IDK.

  • can't get enough of this song!!!!!! i can deffinatly relate to it.. makes me sad, but i luv it

  • Totally agree with you!

  • @roquero03 im the same way man :D

  • just one word: MARVELOUS! :)
