There are lots of socialists teaching in economic departments across the world- such as Professor Minqi Li, Richard Wolff, Andrew Glyn, Andrew Kliman, David Harvey, Stephen Resnick, Brian O'Boyle,
..just to name a few academic economists who are socialists and Marxians (and I have not included the less radical heterodox economists who support a system of regulated capitalism and welfare capitalism).
