I bet SW looks great on Blu-Ray, but sad that I can't get them cause Lucas managed to destroy the old movies with the changes he made. Such tragedy that he had to ruin a perfectly good movie trilogy with lame new lines and stuff that didn't need to be added into the movie. The Special Edition version of the old movies were already bad enough, but he even topped himself here.

I'm posting this for the sole purpose of getting hate mail and threats about my Communist opinion... but I have no problem whatsoever with the so-called "changes" made to the Blu-ray set. In fact, I don't even notice them. A speech addition, crowd noises, CGI, the way a colorful graphic looks and the color of it... all trivial to me... I have the worst memory in the world, so I wouldn't even realize something has been changed, I'd just enjoy the movies. Plus, Yoda looks sweet computerized.

Those wondering why the EU discs are different, they got the regular versions of discs that are available for sale in the regular versions. The discs in the US may lack artwork, but they are more collectible because they were manufactured solely for the US/Canada complete saga. The rest are just the mass produced discs available all over the world.

That being said, I think the EU version has much better disc holders and it's more solid. I'm scared about bending or ripping the artwork in mine.

I don't get the people hating on the superior digipak packaging. Unless of course you prefer scratching the oblivion out of your discs whilst pulling them out of the tight cardboard. On top of that, the provided art booklet contains all visuals seen in the region 1 version, and the discs aren't plain, boring white, either.

Obi-Wan - The Phantom Menace (he is the main character as he has the most screentime)

Padme - Attack of The Clones (the love story is the focus of the film)

Anakin or Vader - Revenge of the Sith (Anakin's downfall)

Luke - A New Hope (Obviously!)

Yoda - The Empire Strikes Back (Lucas stated that Yoda was the most important thing about the film)

Palpatine - Return of The Jedi (the movie is about stopping the Empire)

Han, Leia, and Chewie - bonus discs

@tobbesupra217 I just got my set yesterday and mine doesnt look like yours other than the outside case. The discs dont have pictures on them. They just have the names of the movies and what episode it is. And the disc holders are cardboard and the concept art isnt in the book. Its on each page of the case as yo flip through the discs. Not sure if this is because the UK and North America versions are different, Im in Canada.

I was disappointed for all the region B buyers (UK/AUS/NZ) when prepping the stock today at work... cheap blue casing, little book in the side that shows all the cool artwork from the region A version.

Episode II: Anakin

Episode III: Obi Wan

Episode IV: Leia in the wite outfit

Episode V: Han

And for the extras, just put 3 ships, or R2, C3PO and Yoda or 3 planets, or 3 Artworks...

So I think the delibracy here is to feature the supporting characters on these discs to give it that more epic scope to the packaging. After all, the main characters are everywhere else and on previous box sets.
