  • I can really imagine these things being used in combat. They must be a thousand times cheaper than a fighter jet, there's no risk of casualties, they can pull way more many G's and I'm sure in the future will be able to fly and fire quite accurately.. it's scary, almost like something out of a movie. Imagine being gunned down by a fleet of these things!

  • @new2hackin or maybe 100 of them that size armed with light armament.... cheaper still...harder to hit...and like a bunch of angry flying rats that spit bullets!

  • fit a gun to it, program it to shoot towels and send it to iraq

  • I'm glad there's no way this technology could ever possibly be used for military purposes.

  • @keithkml lol... think on! You think autonomous remote aircraft that cost only a few hundred have no military use? Man I could kit that thing out with an uzi and targeting system myself...in less than a day...and it'd be able to shoot the balls off a fly at 100 yards!

  • It is technically accurate but has no sense of style, and did it stop and stare at the beginning?

  • Very cool indeed imgine the applications!

  • @thekevboro Policing springs to mind... even home security... not to mention the search and remote medical applications for people lost in forests, mountains or at sea... just drop and forget...and it homes in on survivors... sometimes it delivers food, water and medicine... or in Libya it might deliver death, destruction and mayhem...whatever takes your fancy.
