I liked the editing and the music choice, but to offer a dissenting opinion, I really don't see the need for this scene. Superman: The Movie was recapped in the opening of Superman II. I can pretty much guarantee that anyone who went to see this had seen the first movie. We all know what happened.
@jtkirkfan2002 Well yes, its recapped in the Lester cut of Supe 2, & this is meant to go along with the Donner cut of 2. Plus in the original, Supe IS kind of vague on how it all happened. If I didnt know what happned & he just said "This little crystal did everything, & I became Superman", I'd be a little lost as to how it happened. So it's more for Lois than it is for the viewers in a way.
@sabishiihito Yeah but he wasn't as shaky and needy as the Clark Kent persona. He seems more like himself here, somewhere in between the commanding Superman persona and the dorky CK persona.
@gothatway09 AKA the REAL Clark Kent ("Smallville" Clark, we got to see him at the beginning of Superman I and at the beginning of Superman Returns on the farm).
From the beginning all the way to 1:07 when "The Planet Krypton" theme ends was really good! It would have made for a pretty good Supes Trailer! BTW, How AWESOME is The Planet Krypton theme??? John Williams is the MAN!
@HanziSuperman Thanks! Well, give me some ideas. What did you like & what didnt you like about the fortress fight scene? & have you seen both the Lester & Donner version of this scene? Ill try & think of stuff to, & will re-do it when I get enuff ideas.

He pretty much dropped the Superman act when he was talking to her here. Voice not as deep, lots of "ums" and "uhs"....that's all Clark Kent there.

@MagicMan982 Tell me about it, I can never get tired of the Krytpon theme, it could be used to virtually improve ANY Supe video clip!!!

This gave me chills down my spine. The editing is really good, well done!
Is it possible to do the Fortress of Solitude fight scene if you get the time?
I've always loved that scene when I was a kid.
This video is on my favourites

@SupermanRecut I've seen both versions of the scene and they are both good in different ways.
I personally like the Lester version better, but I liked the heated talk between Superman and Zod in the Donner cut.
I'll leave the ideas up to you, but I loved the lester fight.
The only thing I didn't like about the donner version was that there wasn't enough action, but that's about it.
Thanks again.
