  • awesome! i just got this card and i cant wait to try it out

  • can a single 6870 run bf3 on ultra with no OC?

  • @sabufinisher

Yup just no msaa. I get a good 40+ fps on ultra in multiplayer. OCing adds 3-5 fps. As long as your card is a good temperature, under 80C, OCing is safe.

  • what the name of this mission?

    I have never seen before

  • @MrFikrullah

I actually can't remember haha. I think it's the third mission. The singleplayer isn't really the best in this game, so I can't remember much about it even after just playing it...

  • @MrFikrullah It`s the 2th mission and it`s called Uprising ;)

  • @BlackClawReventoN

    Thanks! haha

  • @BlackClawReventoN Thank You (:

  • high and ultra dont have much difference does it?

  • @1337ImpeRaToR

Not that I could tell. I did a screenshot of max/ultra no aa or hbao/ high with aa and hbao and my mutliplayer settings which were ultra textures everything else medium and no aa hbao. The only difference I could tell was when I had hbao and aa on, I could hardly tell the difference between ultra and high. I Could kind of tell with ultra and my multi settings though, but it wasnt bad at all since the textures were on ultra, that's all that really matters.

  • @Dieterweber22

AA is a system killer though, even on medium settings if I turn aa on 4x, I drop to 30 fps. Hopefully this is just a glitch. Max vs ultra does look a lot different, and a lot better.

  • @Dieterweber22 consider urself lucky. I got a GTX 560, but it's held back by an athlon dual core. My 1055t hexacore should come in the mail tonight or tommorrow.

  • @Dieterweber22 with dual core no matter what settings from low to ultra, i get 20-30 fps. Damn tom's hardware had a benchmark that was full of shit. Turns out they benched a single player scripted movie scene, then said CPU wont impact gameplay it's all about the GPU. What a crock of shit. I can put my same gpu in a guy's comp with a phenom quad, and he gets triple the performance.

  • @SupremeAmerican

oh wow! I always followed those benches, luckily I hadn't recommended a dual core to anyone! I hope it works out, let me know if it fixes it. Thanks!

  • can it run on ultra with:

    Phenom II X6 2.8GHz

    Sapphire ATI HD 6850 1GB DDR5

    RAM-6GB DDR3

    1TB storage

  • @FragIt561

Yes it would "run" on ultra, but not very well. Considering I get 30ish fps avg on ultra, everything maxed, you would get about 25. You would probably get fps drops to about 15. If you change the settings to what are in my vid you should get a good 45+ fps. And it still looks amazing.

  • @Dieterweber22

but could it work with Sapphire ATI HD6950 2GB

  • @FragIt561

I looked up some Battlefield 3 benchmarks and no single video card can really run it at "playable" settings. Which means over 45 fps. I tried playing a mission last night with all ultra settings but no aa or hbao and it ran very well. Average 55 fps but it would have random fps spikes, so it would be bad to run those settings on multiplayer. The AMD/ATI video cards have a hard time with 4xaa deferred in battlefield 3, so I would recommend not turning on that setting.

  • @Dieterweber22

    OK and thank you :D

  • @FragIt561

No problem man :D if you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask me!

  • 3:30 wtf

  • howmuch fps you get on ultra plz? btw nice vid

  • @Eidnaj

I get about 30-40 fps on ultra. It was a bit too slow so I decided not to do that for a video.

  • really it ran that well? that means I can build a bf3 rig under 600 sweet!

  • @dnamick17 hey if you build one you should tell me the things you bought

  • @ShibbySlushy

I could help you out too. If you wanna know just pm me price range and what kind of performance you want and I'll show you a list of parts from newegg.

  • @ShibbySlushy def will just gotta wait a little longer lol and did you use fraps to record? I found that dxtory doesnt effect your fps at all I use that now. gonna use it on my new youtube for bf vids only. you should check it out zzn1ghtmairzz

  • @dnamick17

Yep I use fraps. With the six core processor, fraps has little to no effect on fps, even at 60fps 1080p. But the free version drastically decreases fps. The only problem with recording is it takes a ton of hard drive space and if I had a faster hard drive, there would be less stuttering and probably higher fps. Recording 1080p 60 fps uses about 1-2 gb a minute. And I'll check out your channel :)

  • sux
