The Ripper was one of my favorite guns in GOTY. I hate how they got rid of it. I get tons of headshots with it.

Yea believe me I was less than trilled at the content in UT3. There was a lack of it compared to the past two installments. Less game modes, less maps, less customization for matches. UT3 is just weak overall, I should of got COD4 or something.

@blayde10 Theres a mod for it suprisingly, due to the karma system, it can be only used in offline. Its called Ragdoll Madness.

the ripper = super cool because you can headshot people and the pulse gun is very cool but it is to gone and the link gun is not a good name for a plasma rifle.....

Alright.. Well.. I just recently started playing UT2004 again.. and I am totally clueless when it comes to these mods.. I've downloaded two of em.. and theyre ZIP.. Wtf do I do now?! heheh

Well, for most mods, or "mutators," just go under the Mutators menu and fiddle with the settings. This particular mutator lets you replace any one weapon with the RipJack. Make sure the mutator is selected and active, then go right into it.

Set input (the key you want, Q for me) behindview 1.

and for fp view you type

um to get third person it has to be set in the server tht u can view third person if it is press f4 or type in comand behindview3

In the key binds, there should be a key marked "Chase Camera" or "3rd Person View" or something. I have mine set to "V", for example. I don't know if online servers can disable this feature or not, but if they can, all the ones I've played on allowed it, so...

Oh hell yeah. Unreal Tournament 2004, 2003, and even the original Unreal are still pretty popular! It's amazing. Some servers use mutators, some don't. Get into it if you want some quality gaming. ^_^

It's the RipJack from Unreal Championship 2 on the Xbox and Xbox 360.

The RipJack itself is just a heavy modification of the RazorJack from Unreal and the Ripper from Unreal Tournament...and it also sucks in comparison due to its slower firing rate and the fact you can't "gangsta-style" the blades.(Meaning shoot them at an odd angle.)

DM-Hyperblast2, if I'm not mistaken, yes. The tune is also "Hyperblast-Redux," a redux of "Go Down" from the original Unreal Tournament, as stated.
