I just bought this yesterday for $21 at walmart. I got it for the same reason, because it looked really unique. However I couldn't really get the hang of using it and the directions weren't very clear. This was SUPER helpful and I can't wait to try using it again!!

It looks horrible... no offense. But honestly I wouldn't buy it, maybe it's just your hair though. I guess it will look different on a better grade of hair maybe. I don't think I'm going to buy it though. Both sides looked way better before running your hand through it, after you did that you looked like that loser type character in a movie. The girl with the dry frizzy hair and bulky glasses who eventually realizes she's not cute then makers herself cute. In the end she straightens her hair...

for the people who do use the heat on high because they have ''thick hair'' when they say you have thick hair they mean the strand not all of it together because if you section it all sections will the same thickness... so before you go setting your iron on high heat check your hair strands to see if they are thin or thick :)
