@ajh403 ebay.i just found out that this ipod ins't brand new and is refurbished but the seller listed it as brand new.but yesterday i acturly found an brand new one in black also.purchased it on ebay for $100USD($94.98AUD).just keep looking on ebay cause i found some really old ipods brand new.

@jairaa001 don't buy it yet.in a few months the 7rh gen will come out.check out my ipod nano 6th gen unboxing to see if you like it.if you really don't want to wait to sept 2011 then get the ipod nano 5th gen it is far more worth your money.i just buy any ipod because i'm collecting it.

@gokarter28 thats apple's good quality as always.think all ipods are made out of aluminium now except for the touch which is made out of glass and steel.i'll be getting the 5th gen touch in 2012 as i'll be gettign the nano 7th gen and shuffle 5th gen also psp ngp so don't have enough to get the 5th gen touch until 2012.also the wii hd/2,ps4 and xbox 720 in 2012.

Yeah. the ipod fared better than i would of expected, i was always scared i would have broken the glass, but the glass is fine. the backing is just bent badly, a good excuse for an upgrade :D

@gokarter thanks.sure is.you should of used an casing for the ipod touch as the back can get scratch pretty easy.all my ipods are now well kepted in their boxes except for my iphone 4/ipod touch which are currently in use.the others have no damage at all but i need to get a brand new ipod shuffle 3rd gen as the chrome part is scratched and that was before i started collecting ipods so thats one ipod that needs replacing.

@holdencommstra Thing is, i had a case on my ipod when it happened. It is the belkin grip vue, so it isn't really a hard case. The back of my ipod has absolutely no scratches, but it just has a massive bend in it. Without the case i think it would of been damages worse.

@gokarter28 ummm.try taking it to an Apple Store.they might replace it for you if it's still under warranty.just make up some reason like you lefted it in the sun and it became to blend.i had my iphone 4 replaced for free when the volume up bottom it still works but doesn;t have a push feel to it and apple just gave me a new one.

@gokarter28 if your planing on selling your current touch when you have your 5th gen you might as well go to apple and try to get a better condition one since if it's damage your going to get a really low profit from it when you sell it.or collect it like me in perfect condition.

@holdencommstra I may also turn it into a little project to fix the 4th gen up, i have seen websites with new metal backs even with the right number of gigabytes on the back. Im not really sure that i want to sell it though(: Thanks for all the helpful advice :D

@smmfan check your USB cable if thats the problem if not it's the Ipod due to old age.

nice video, but it was probably refurbished. Since it has the new headphones and sync cable. Also the pouch, dvd and apple stickers you mentioned didn't came with it.

@holasoyorlando i agree when i first open the box i saw no cd and ETC so i contact the seller and he said it never came with those when he purchased it.Well better then used no sign of damage.
