I have purchased SEVERAL cases for my Epic, and all have had clearence issues. All seem to mount and attach well, and feel good, when installed. But with all that I have used, after repeated used, you will begin to notice scuff marks on the hardware keyboard, mainly on the #2 key and all keys downward, as well as the # 9 key, and all keys downward.
As the qwerty keyboard was a major seling point, would be a shame to wear it out just sliding the phone open.
