@TheMusicEclipse Yeah, she isn't 100% Deaf. She's Hard of Hearing, and her hearing loss came when she was a teenager.

@lydiam1995 i heard in an interview with her that she lost her hearing around 20 years old, her sister is an ASL teacher so she was learning before she went deaf. She said that she was volunteering to try out some new hearing test and they told her she was qualified for hearing aids. She also said that with hearing aids that she got from ABC FAMILY, she can hear pretty well, but some days she can't hear anything. All of this was in an interview with her. I guess it's true then. lol.

@misssupercool1001 Katie isn't deaf. She started learning ASL in high school and was later diagnosed with Ménière's disease, which is an ear disorder. It is because of this disease that her hearing fluctuates, sometimes she can hear well and other days she can't, like you mentioned.
