ive been here and heard stuff in the two main buildings this is in fact an insane asylum i have files to prove it. but there is no electroshock therapy room and the unopened boxes of files are no longer in the storage room. and the files in the cabinets have also been removed or burned. and this wasnt always an insane asylum. i have a lot of classified evidence on this place to prove what it is. but unfortunately i am unable to release this information to the public.

i agree with CaptainFinAmazing. Not to mention, some people probably pulling off ritualistic stuff too. Tends to happen. Like Zombie Road for example. i believe in ghosts and stuff, sure, but i also believe that some people can let things kind of run away with them. Old buildings that have a lot of history and in disrepair give off vibes because of what happened while in use. Does it mean it's haunted? No. But you never know.

I went and proved most of the noises and shiftings wrong. But in the biggest building, the basement had a pretty bad feeling.

And the cops dont want you there cuz its next to JUVY HALL. You can walk there from Juvy in less than 5 min.

I grew up in the area,check out the unmarked graves behind the main building also this area was military, Brooks air base and Lackland, EPA ..chemical contamination for sure it's on there HOT LIST......lots 0f mounds of white dust (dirt) no plant growth no living organisms. I like how you state everything as fact even when you're grasping to make it seem scarier than it really is. So the files and papers strewn about the place mean the occupants left in a hurry, eh? It couldn't just mean that papers were left behind and in the past 14 years of trespassing, vandalism, and "ghost hunting" people shifted documents around. Let's not forget that the place has no windows and is out in a field that leaves it exposed to the winds.

LOL.......I can name off many reasons as to WHY the police don't want you on the property....it's just common sense.......1st of all, the place doesn't look very safe and the last thing the cops wanna deal with is somebody hurting themselves.....and have you seen the graffiti? I recognized several gang affiliated tags.....so I'm gonna guess that it's also a popular spot for that type of rabble to hang out at........I will suffice to say that it IS pretty damn creepy

Great video! I myself have indeed been there about 3 or 4 times back in the early 2ks. Awesome pics btw,and kudos on the research too. Taught me more in 7 minutes then I ever knew about the place when I was trekkin down there. Anyone planning on going I recomend EXTREME CAUTION! Not only because of the hazerdous condition & size of the facilty,but SAPD is an almost contstant presence. Last time I braved it me & 3 friends damn near got arrested!-(and had to dump out all our Beer!) We were lucky.

I went in there last year with my friend Anthony. Creepy as shit, even in daylight. We went into the misbehaved section second floor. As we were walking up the steps seen at 3:04-3:08, we looked back almost at the same angle as this shot and could both swear we saw a man in a straight jacket with a white hood with a metal mouth guard used to prevent biting.

it has many uses in it's day from what i understand. there was a section of the facility that housed elder people. it was also used to house arsonists.

Ive been in there at night time with my friends. I advise you guys to be carfuel if you are going for 2 reasons. It has a creepy vibe when you go in. 2 the most important. You can get in trouble with the law if they find you there.

I work for the san antonio state hosptail currently this is nothing. There are tunnels underneth the old buildings, I have been inside part of the tunnels there are still the shackels on the wall that where used to restrain the patients.

there is a way to get in without getting a parking ticket. but sometimes a guard walks the place. And you kant be loud, and use minimal lights. And there are no vagrants, otherwise they would be thrown out by the kops.

I've been there and its haunted but the police will get you for trespassing and parking in a no parking zone I got caught and had to pay 150 dolars just for a parking ticket so go at your own risk
