Remember Jayson Williams before he had that circumstance with the limo driver? Tom Tolbert was a very big upgrade from Pat Croce and Williams. I wish Tom was still around on ABC/ESPN broadcasts.

There is just something about the way NBC did its reporting in the final two seasons that I absolutely loved, and I can never put my finger on it. The segment here with Mike Breen and PJ Carlesimo...just the way it is delivered...just remember these days so perfectly, going to the courts after every game for both conference finals...still so vivid.
It was disturbing how Marv's hair changed from black to brown somewhere around this time...
