Although it's called "An epic poem" it's still a poem.The actual story was contraversial at the time because the writer featured a lot of saints/popes/bishops he saw as corrupt as being in hell (which no doubt pissed off the church a lot) There is no story called "Inferno" but it's a bit different.

GOW is nothing like any of them games...........at all................ you retard. Gears of war is one of a kind with a unique storyline. The only games like gears of war are Quantum Theory and Army of Two. GOW is so creative its unbelievable.

People CAN help it. It is mainstream and very VERY typical to say everything is GOW. Look up Prince of persia, Devil may cry, Tomb raider. And greek mythologies Hercules.
GOW ripped off ALL of them.
Hera did to Hercules what Ares did to Kratos. The gameplay is DMC with blades and more gore. The puzzles are ripped off from Tomb raider. SOOOO
GOW has ripped off pretty much all the great games of the past 15 years.

God of War redefine action games like it or not. It's not just another game otherwise we wouldn't be talking about it. Of course God of War copy some elements simlliar to Tomb Raider and DMC and blah blah blah... they took already what was done and make it they own way. Just like any other game. As for this game... this game probably was inspired to by God of War, just like God of War was inspired by Tomb Raider and etc. If not, it still can't be help but look like God of War in some ways.

Well I wasn't judging about the story line and etc. I was just saying that the gameplay itself, just the gameplay itself, which would be quickly judge as seen as the screen pops up, is like god of war. I'm not saying that this game is like God of War in terms of everything. Just the gameplay. But I know what you mean.

Agreed. Im not flamin anyone here, per se, Just, I think God of war gets way too much credit and great games are being shunned by the comparisons, Conan was a great game, but people bashed it as a GOW clone and it flopped
