Bloody hell thats quick :) gj also, you make those laps pass by so smoothly (apart from a lil to much power to early @ 5:05 :P) must be a joy to take out
This has to be the pinnicale car when it comes to motosport and the Sierra rs 500. RS 500 road versions are the best cosworths , this vehicle had the best driver and he has won more btcc races than anyone afaik period .
I think Andy Rouse is one of the best BTCC drivers of all time, Ive met him on loads of occasions and hes a really nice bloke. Of course im biased tho being related to him. I think BTCC has gone rubbish now with the new cars, there nothing like the old ones nor as quick or exiting to watch due to all the new rules and regulations.
How has the BTCC diminished so much? I used to love watching guys like Andy Rouse and John Cleland race in the early 90s.
It was great because, unlike F1, a bloke of normal stature would be able to get into one of those cars and drive it (maybe not very well!), + it was wheel to wheel.
Absolute legend. If I had the time and money, would love to own an Cosworth engineered by Rouse. What a car!!! Has anyone watched Tim Harvey being reunited with his original racing Cosworth?
wow....i swear, you could give me a ferrari, or a bugatti veyron, and I would say...fuck off..I'd rather drive an Andy Rouse prepared RS500...any day!
you are one very lucky man ! i worshiped Andy Rouse back in the old days, easily the best driver, engineer and car of ALL the touring car formats ,forget BMW and Ravaglia, this is the pinacle of tintops !
real power...

I used to love watching the BTCC in the old days. It was more exciting. Even with the old Sierras. My favourite BTCC car.

Fantastic. So good to see it with its period dash set up as well.
Is this the Guy Edwards car, if so i remember seeing it at Thruxton in 1989.
Do hope you make some more videos like this in the future.
