Unfortunately I probably won't be able to record this Saturday's test due to an ROTC parade that I am participating in. However, still tell you all if I hear any sirens.

@Ouranos94 If this was recorded in the Joy Road and Greenfield Road the thunderbolt 1000t could be the one at the abandoned Ruddiman Middle School.

@97Siren I don't mean to be negative but the truth is, I don't trust Detroit. I will still be able to record a siren this Sat but it's not like anything special or interesting though.

Another reason you know it's not Redford's 1000T is because Redford only tests in Alert, not both Alert and Attack. I wanna find this 1000T! The only Detroit Tbolt i've ever seen is the one on 7 Mile Road and Ryan. Thanks for this recording!

Could you find the Thunderbolt 1000T and get a video of it during next months test

@garyhstorms10 I'll try to. It's going to be kind of hard being that up until this point no one knew that Detroit had a 1000T.

Sounds like Detroit's sirens woke up out of no where. That 1000T in the background sounds too high pitched to be Redford City Hall's and there isn't any other place that would have 1000Ts. I seriously thought all of Detroit's T-bolts were 1000s as well. Thanks for the video though.

@Siren1000T1 I think this might be their reply to a letter I sent them and a council member after the last testing period. I guess now we have to locate that 1000T.

@Ouranos94 Oh you actually requested them to switch the sirens back on?

@Siren1000T1 Yes. I also asked them to inspect all old sirens and replace the radios for all of the ones that can still be used. It was a very detailed letter.

@mohkfry Well as of now, Detroit reverted back to it's pld activation signal, thus rendering all sirens that still have power operable. I'm quite excited.

@Ouranos94 Sweet! Do you know approximately how many sirens will be running then? Im sure they could just hook up the sirens without power. It shouldn't cost too much considering the 3-phase lines and transformers nearby the sirens.
