There is no evidence in the quran, a couple of pages of poetry, do not match 100's of years of scientific research, and you are a fool if you think it does. It's copying the 6 days of creation in the Torah, where on the 7th day God ceased creation and to celebrate that day declared it should be a day of rest and reflection for Jews for all time.

There is no evidence in the quran, a couple of pages of poetry, do not match 100's of years of scientific research, and you are a fool if you think it does. Yeah, that's the excuse people usually use. However if that were the case then what would be the point of the Sabbath being a single day per week?
It's copying the 6 days of creation in the Torah, where on the 7th day God ceased creation and to celebrate that day declared it should be a day of rest and reflection for Jews for all time.
If you want to say that Al Leom is 2 billion years then the sabbath would need to last 2 billion years too, and everyone would die :-)

No, the point of the Sabbath is that it was the 7th day. It was the day God rested and so the Jews rest from work every 7th day of the week. Trying to deny that is ridiculous, ask ANY Jew what the Sabbath is!
Then of course the Quran says that man + all the animals were created in their final forms, whereas there is MASSIVE scientific evidence that all life evolved from single cell organisms.
You can't get much more scientifically wrong than that!
