Guys, go into Cheat Engine, search the name of the level you want to change (I'll choose Colossus) and just change it in Cheat Engine. Beware of glitches when typing ANYTHING more than the game's expected length (For instance, "Colossus" is 8 letters. Don't type anything more than 8 letters or it might join names of other places)
I do have a spyro "level editor" of sorts. I can import characters from one level to another level, or from spyro 3 into spyro 2, or the buildings from spyro 3 into spyro 1. I even have a baisc 2d model viewer in Microsoft Excel. There are not fully finished yet
awesome! You should think about making a fangame! That is, if you can actually make completely new levels... or would that require having to reconstruct 3d models? Is everything you see in a Spyro level(from the buildings to the platforms floating in mid air to the terrain) an object that can be reused in other places(theoretically), or are they all just 3D models that you have to work with?
Thanks for your interest. Their are 2 types of 3d formats in spyro. Characters like Spyro himself, and gem chests, and Then level terrain, which can be made to move (aka Magic Crafter's). Each level is about 90 different chunks, while each character is independent. Terrain is easier to work with, as Characters use mathematical functions to render
I imagine anything would require mathematical functions to work with, Terrain included. So, for things like those castles in Scorch, would that have its own model? Or the big building in Fireworks Factory(Spyro 3 but they both use the same engine)? With your level editor, could you potentially make completely new levels by simply making new terrain and reusing characters? Is this level editor, like, one of those text-only programs, or does it have a GUI? Is it user-friendly?
The program itself is me basically copy and pasting pieces of Hex code by hand using cheat engine. Spyro 1/2/3 and many other ps1 games use functions that are more complicated than they need to be because the ps1 does not surport "floating points".
PM me on how to do this please? :D

I'll make a trainer that does all this for you.

Nice. I was trying to hack my one, but it failed >.<
I did all the hex editing around with the text.
ePSXe doesn't emulate hacked images. I tried to make an IMG file, but the ePSXe doesn't like it. Can you help me?

@TuragTheHedgehog There's a much simpler way around it.
