Ok, people who downplay this game don't really get what the premise is all about. Kane is a "Narcissist" and he only cares about what he wants. *Hints* his dysfunctional relationship with his whole family. Narcissists can care for only a certain portion of people in their life, but they NEVER can understand what true love is, and that explains Kane's story. Lynch is a medicated psychopath so this game is just showing you basically how sad these mentally ill individuals are xD.

I do not have a problem with black people, but Foxx is seriously not the best choice for the character of Lynch. Hell I'm not even sure Willis is the best choice for Kane. Kane- disempathetic sociopath, Lynch- psychopath. Kane will never like Lynch, in the second one he basically just used Lynch later in the game just so he could complete the mission and be back with his family, the only thing he cares about. This is more of a movie type game though, the script is to broad for a game.

This is a great game with a superb storyline. But I recommend only playing the single player part of the game when you are in the mood for blood,sweat, and tear type of games or this game will suck the happy mood out of your day playing and focusing on these characters lol.

The only reason he turned to crime was because he felt he had nothing to live for after he lost his son, and his wife left him and took his daughter. I hope to see a flashback or something showing Kane when he was actually a "normal" law abideing citizen, and loving father. The only glimpse we have is the photo of him smiling with his fam, and a few audio flashbacks when near death in the first game.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a movie buff (I think I have like 2000 movie ratings and a couple hundred reviews on Netflix)...
It's rare to find a game with a story that compares to GOOD movies, but Kane and Lynch is definitely the franchise that tops that chart.
Deadspace is really good, too if you like sci fi, both the regular game and Deadspace Extraction (which is a different, slightly more cinematic story) are awesome.
I'm more into gameplay, personally, but this is still one of my favorites.

GREAT NEWS: palystation magazine CONFIRMED that a dead men movie will be released for 2011!!! its got willis rumored to do kane and mickey rourke/billy bob thorton to lynch. The article says that "the movie was greenlit before the game even debuted." The magazine has drake uncharted 2 on the cover and in the lower left and right hand corners of the pages it says november 2009. Also, they're gonna reboot mortal kombat and tomb raider.
Its been two years since this was released, and I still think it's one of best games I've ever played.
And yes, most of the game was inspired by Michael Mann's Heat, and it's the closest thing we'll get to a game of that movie, but that's a whole other dicussion.
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days was recently trademarked by Eidos, but as Eidos have now merged with Square Enix, the release is now in question, but is still being developed by IO Interactive along with Hitman 5...
Are you kidding me? Bruce Willis is way overplayed in action movies, way! The perfect character for this would be movie is the actor Jason Statham in both looks and voice of Kane and for Lynch I would have to say John Malkovic.
Oh and at the very end of the trailer at around 2:50 it shows Kane in a grey suit with a duffle bag slung across his back. Lynch is also shown in his black suit.... however this scene is the end scene of the first mission. Kane also has a bandage on his nose, which was BROKEN on the first level. I find this rather amusing.
They don't wear these outfits until Chapter 3: Withdrawl. In the actual game, Kane & Lynch are shown in orange jumpsuits
It should also be noted that this trailer, specficially the narrative of Kane's daughter, is most likely set in a police station after the Kane & Lynch level "reunion" in which Kane tells his daughter to drive away (it's later either alluded to or mentioned that she goes to the police, and is then re-captured by The7)

They should let kevin gage play the role of lynch so it dont turn out to be another piece of shit action where ppl are flying upside down cutting heads off, jerking off in the air and slinging guns around like hitman OR that FUCKED UP RESIDENT EVIL (another game that had potential!!!)

Yea ur right! Mickey Rourke is pretty talented!! Did you see him in Sin City...! He'd be perfect...if he stayed in that city! Kevin Gage must play Lynch. GREAT NEWS: palystation magazine CONFIRMED that a dead men movie will be released for 2011!!! its got willis rumored to do kane and mickey rourke/billy bob thorton to lynch. The article says that "the movie was greenlit before the game even debuted." The magazine has drake uncharted 2 on the cover and in the lower left and right hand corners of the pages it says november 2009. Also, they're gonna reboot mortal kombat and tomb raider.

Its been two years since this was released, and I still think it's one of best games I've ever played.
And yes, most of the game was inspired by Michael Mann's Heat, and it's the closest thing we'll get to a game of that movie, but that's a whole other dicussion.
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days was recently trademarked by Eidos, but as Eidos have now merged with Square Enix, the release is now in question, but is still being developed by IO Interactive along with Hitman 5...

Are you kidding me? Bruce Willis is way overplayed in action movies, way! The perfect character for this would be movie is the actor Jason Statham in both looks and voice of Kane and for Lynch I would have to say John Malkovic.

Oh and at the very end of the trailer at around 2:50 it shows Kane in a grey suit with a duffle bag slung across his back. Lynch is also shown in his black suit.... however this scene is the end scene of the first mission. Kane also has a bandage on his nose, which was BROKEN on the first level. I find this rather amusing.
They don't wear these outfits until Chapter 3: Withdrawl. In the actual game, Kane & Lynch are shown in orange jumpsuits

It should also be noted that this trailer, specficially the narrative of Kane's daughter, is most likely set in a police station after the Kane & Lynch level "reunion" in which Kane tells his daughter to drive away (it's later either alluded to or mentioned that she goes to the police, and is then re-captured by The7)

I'm sorry to say guys, but they are making a movie on this, the reason i'm sorry? i whole lot of things
1. Hollywood translates into "Lets Fuck with good videogames and make a movie that has nothing to do with the games storyline at all.
2. The movie is being directed by a guy who has only ever done 1 movie, and its not even been widely heard of.
However i am keeping positive that this movie will succeed only because Bruce Willis is playing Kane and i want to believe the movie will work out.

I know I'm gunna be like the 50th person that has said this, but have you seen Heat? Robert denero and AL pachino. many people would say its like the story line to this. I don't but i would say its a terrific film and that anyone looking for a kane and lynch movie would want to see it.

This game was nice, but there are a few flaws that could have been fixed, like the waky AI. Also, I think this game was too short. Me and my friend finished it in one evening.
But still, it was a good game, we had fun.
