Part 1 and 2 are the best !^^ but i hate that hudson made this shitty BR 3, extreme ,primal fury and part 4. this games was my childhood and i played it many times because this game is fast ,action packed and awesome in once. the music was so awesome and the chars are really balanced .but why are the last BR games made it so shit? why make Hudson this series so fucked up after the second part? hudson should make bloody like the first both parts.Fast and action-packed !!!

@S0ryiu i think the first one was great because its fast-paced and the music was much more Metal / hard rock. bloody roar extreme/primal fury is okay but it feels so slow somehow. =/ i hope konami put a new BR game which is more fast-paced and got more rock / metal / hardrock music , because the franchise lost the touch of something brutal and violent artstyle. i wanna see more bloody ,brutal gameplay which u would say : this is a real BEAST of a game!! a comeback like this would be awesome !!

Hudson made on many games really awesome rock tunes which fits perfectly to the game like LORDS OF THUNDER , GINKA FUKEI DENSETSU SAPHIRE, GATES OF THUNDER and many more . just hear the tunes on youtube cause this game soundtracks are masterpieces of the whole video game history . =)

Gado is good for beginner for pros his most attacks are gonna blocked... but with enough timing you can beat with him everyone he makes so incredible damage... and shenlong was op better combos then long and more damage...

They each have their own perks, gado is power, long is master combos, and bakuryu has tricks and speed.

My personal favorite is shenlong, just because he is more brutal, and has a little more thump than long, at least he did until they watered him down in the 3rd one.

yeah, gado is a little tricky, some of his moves require real good timing. Some of his moves are sluggish, others are somewhat fast, his short-range attacks are a little fast, and long range is slow, but he is a real powerhouse.

This is one the best ps1 beat-em-up games ever! If paying for the first time, this intro alone gets you pumped and ready to destroy! (then you have to learn how to play the game!) The music is good, the character movements were fluid, the animation (all of them;cgi, still pictures and character movement) was great too! This and Bloody Roar 3 were bloody excellent! (btw Long and Shina were my favorites!)

Long was always my fav since the first one. But then i played as shenlong in two...and he is just pure badass. He is basically what Long was in the first one...a cold-hearted assassin. I quit playing the series after the third one. Got 1,2, and 3 when they first came out. But the third...it doesn't feel the same, they watered down the characters..especially Gado+Shenlong, and Stun felt completely useless. Bakuryu thankfully is still freakishly deadly. Rave mode should've been like in the first 1

I have to agree with you on almost anything, Except I think Stun was made more functional, but other characters went way ahead of him in improvements save for Gado... I haven't touched any new BR games since BR3. A shame considering how much potential the series had.

yeah, the character i miss THE MOST is FOX. FOX is actually a guy and appears femine cuz he hated all ugly things, but due to a translation error, fox is listed as a she in the U.S. version's manual.Fox is as fast, maybe even slightly faster than Bakuryu! No joke, i remember he had this one move that u could do, and it literally was in the blink of an eye, it was instantaneous, like Bakuryu's teleport.

I Own the OST for BR3, it's not included. At least not in my copy. The BR3 OST also lacks the Arcade Music for BR2 as well, which is why the fanmade rips are usualy more complete.
