Jackie's English isn't strong enough to be a main/lead non-fighting actor in American films unless the character is supposed to be asian. I can see him doing well in Chinese films in terms of acting.

None of his American films are very good anyways in comparison to his Chinese ones. Karate kid actually wasn't too bad.

@ukbarney1 You know what they say. There comes a point in life where it becomes well nigh impossible to master new languages. And besides I've seen a lot of his interviews and he has two different tones in which he speaks. One is his performing voice and the other his conversational one. The performing voice goes slower because he doesn't want to mess up. But his conversational tone goes faster and that goes a long way towards seeming proficient in a foreign language. That's my theory anyway.

You can see JR genuinely loves Jackie, there's a definite affection there as well as respect and It's not hard to see why. Jackie comes across as very humble, charming down to earth guy with no pretensions what so ever.
