I think they were called "Love Joy" real neat idea to use them as a sway bar, wish i knew how to install a transverse mounted spring on the green 31 chevy ,i need some hair pins but not sure i know how to build them or mount them? my last video shows i made a trailer out of a 31 pontiac frame due to the city on my butt, its now a trailer? and parked on hard surface ,take that city council
lol - I'll figure out a way to connect the front bumpers.. not a big deal.. at the moment I'm on a hunt for a few goodies like a Rearend.. Transmission.. all that .. Get her on 4-wheels then worry about the Body stuff.. -Rob
@ thechevyscrounger: I would like to fake the outer ones.. But is using only one early small port 2-bbl Rochester enough for the 305? Then again I cant FIND any small port ones.. everything I have is the later larger units that are not side-feed either.. -Rob
@berkelusa my are dummy on my A ,it will give you plenty of fuel ,as long as it is fairly stock ,i put frz plugs in the manifold on mine, check ebay for junkers ,you only need one rebuilder
I'm bidding on a 67' Camaro 2-bbl side feed unit at the moment.. Guessing with that year it's a big-bore but I have the adapter plates to make it fit.. It came off a running car so It would be the middle unit.. I have enough parts to build two hollow ones easily.. -Rob
Knuckle Shocks had internal springs and Pistons sealed in Oil to prevent vibration. Since I added newer style gas Shocks to it the intention is to hollow out the Knuckle ones and make them the mounting area for a Sway Bar.. -Rob
